I haven’t seen anything about his health but when he briefly played old Batman on the CW crossover event I thought he looked very sickly and a lot older than that.

I recall him being very funny, up until the watermelon thing. But I was just as kid. I’d have to re-watch, and I ain’t gonna do that.

I found funny a routine he did some years ago. He was fishing in his box of stuff and found a light rope. He started hauling it out of the box hand over hand as he said, “Yanno, we’ve got a baby now. Heh, that’s a laugh 'cause the baby’s got us.”
A boat anchor with a diaper on it emerged from the box and he presented it. “This is a baby. ‘Hey, Gal, let’s go to Las Vegas. I’ll pay the airfare and the hotel – it’ll be a blast!’”
He started swinging the anchor while saying, “Oh, no, we can’t go to Vegas because we’ve got a baby!” He hurled the anchor across the stage where it landed with a thud and he started pulling it in. “We can’t ever do anything fun again because–” He held the anchor up and presented it again – “We’ve got a baby!”
phungi and I have discussed an issue about the DP. At the beginning of 2022 I was not up to keeping track of the game, and phungi gallantly became the Death Shroom, as well as handling the themed pool. I wanted to come back as the DeathMistress but I didn’t know if phungi wanted to keep on, so I suggested trading off each year. They turned it down.
So phungi will remain in charge of the themed list, and I will be returning. And folks, I hope your lists are being readied, because it’s not that long until December 1.
And wait until you see my themed list. I don’t think anyone will not know what inspires it.
Oh, bugger. Yet one more thing I need to do.
