I check Wikipedia’s front page each night for obits. Quite often ones reported here are not mentioned there (tho I can click on the comprehensive list if so desired)-I don’t recall seeing Greg Bear listed, for example. Maybe because of the Anglo bias of Wikipedia?

No, he was no longer on my list.
He was 96, so I had pulled him from my list at some point in the past few years.
