Singer/songwriter Dwight Twilley, possibly best known for his 80s hit “Girls,” has died at 72. According to reports, he suffered a stroke while driving, and crashed his car into a tree.
Hollywood Reporter has announced Dusty Street’s passing at age 77. She was a steady voice on LA radio at KROQ, then later on Sirius/XM.
Heard this on Sirius this morning. I loved her voice and her humor, in LA long ago and on Sirius recently. She was great.
I heard her on Sirius often. Sirius is full of NYC radio staples she was a little different.
