Those folks with just 47 points had Doherty but no other picks that have died so far. So there are fewer people with exactly 47 points than actually benefitted from her passing in the game.
I have 53 points because I had her + someone else who died, in my case Bob Newhart.

Perhaps she was so sad about that that she simply passed. Died of a broken heart.
Maybe. I think that is how Carrie Fisher’s mother died, just a day or two after her. I know an older couple who had a son that was a police officer. He was shot and killed in action around 2013. She grew very ill afterwards, not just with depression but other things. She died and her husband insists it was of a “broken heart” from losing their son. I believe it, it drained her physically and mentally.

Sad news. Every time I see one of Michael’s brothers, I realize how perfectly handsome Michael would have been if he just left his face alone. All of them look normally handsome and combine Michael’s talent into that and he would still be a hearthrob for many if he was:
- alive
- plastic-surgery free
Katherine. Jackson has now outlived Michael and Tito, along with one baby that sadly died the day it was born(premature 8 weeks or so).
The NYTimes says this about the timeline on Michaela DePrince’s death:
“Her adoptive mother died on Wednesday, a day after Michaela did. Her health had been declining in recent months after her congenital heart failure worsened. She died before she could learn of Michaela’s death — which, after the deaths of her three sons, her family said, was an act of divine grace.”
