2026 Celebrity Death Pool

I read one of Morris’s books, Manwatching. It was fascinating, though seemed to make a lot of logical leaps to reach assumptions.

What’s your secret? When I followed the link, everything after about the 5th line was paywalled.

Hadn’t seen the Wichita Eagle logo in a while, though. My maternal grandparents lived in Arkansas City, KS, which is almost due south of Wichita and just north of the OK line. When we stayed with them, which would be once or twice a year while growing up, we’d read the Arkansas City Daily Traveler during the week, and the Wichita Eagle on Sundays.

Here’s another, different story.

I’ve been to Ark City several times, always to watch high school or college sports.

Unfortunately, the second time I clicked on the Wichita Eagle link, it gave me only five lines as well and told me that I had to subscribe.

One interesting detail not included in the second article is that Connie Palacioz was 4’7", almost small enough to fit in a pocket according to the reporter.

Thanks!

Calling it ‘Ark City’ confirms that!

The oldest Osmond has gone off to meet Joseph Smith, or whatever it is they do.

Alan Osmond, 76, dies after long battle with MS.

In his honor, here is the coolest song the Osmonds ever did:

Crazy Horses:

Dave Mason, co-founder of Traffic, has driven his last mile at age 79.

French actress Nadia Fares has died at 57 after being found unresponsive in a swimming pool a week before.

I just learned that Lou Zocchi died on April 15 at the age of 91. (I hadn’t realized he was still alive.)

Zocchi was one of the major figures in the rise of table top board gaming.

James Valentine, Australian radio and television presenter, and musician.

Aged 64. Voluntary assisted dying - he had been battling cancer.

So, he’s not feelin’ alright?

I’m not feeling too good myself.

Looks like wrestling referee David Dwinell died a month ago. Points for me and a couple others probably.

The Storage Wars concept was based on bullying and hostility between the cast members. Not surprising that one of them would succumb to bullying, as early reports suggest.

I have bought a Zocchihedron from him for my grandson. Sad news.

The Greys got another one.

The actual alien was extracted leaving the husk behind.
