Surprised not to see a thread about this. Anyone planning to watch? Without taking it seriously, I did find this franchise to be a lot of fun. And who could pass up (just in keeping with GoT-type spoiler rules):

The original 24 brings back good memories from the first season. Can’t believe how long ago that was and how much older I am now!
Stephen Fry’s in it. Good enough for me.
Yeah, that’s why I’m on board too. My only wish is that he plays his character, the Prime Minister, as General Melchett.
So, it’s only 12 episodes. Unless each is 2 hrs, they should call this 12.
It’s only twelve so far. It’ll have to get good ratings for us to learn if the original threat is bogus or real.
FWIW, the 24 Club is back, too. 
Each episode covers just an hour, but hours where nothing happens will be skipped.
I wonder if this is going to be a thing now? Because Heroes is coming back for a short stretch too.
And don’t forget Arrested Development too.
