24 versus Heroes. (wait, that sounds wrong)

[i’m torn – can’t quite decide if this was meant for General Questions or Cafe Society. but since this is where i generally go first…]
ok, who was the genius that scheduled 24 to run at the same time as Heroes on Monday night??? damn them, DAMN THEM!

since i don’t trust my VCR hookup, can some kind soul tell me if the Heroes broadcast on Friday night on the SciFi channel is going to be a repeat of tonight’s episode, like they did last season? or, tell the dummy where she can look it up for herself?

if not, wish me luck with the VCR programming tonight.

Programming your VCR should be easy. Just open a socket.

Jack Bauer wins, preparation be darned.

Excuse me, while I kiss my dual-tuner TiVo…

:stuck_out_tongue:

or to put it more emphatically –

:-P~~~~~*

Yes, the one at 7 is the same as tonight’s: “Godsend.”

I found it just by looking it up on a guide and looking at the “original air date.” My guide was at Excite, but there are others.

bless you! you are indeed a goddess among Dopers.

Save the cheerleader, save the world. OR MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WILL DIE!

Heroes by a longshot for me. I’ve watched 24 since the beginning, but I’m DYING to see what’s next in Heroes. DYING I TELLS YOU.

Hero: Are you on the list?
Jack: DROP THE LIST! NOW! BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM

Heroes for me too. I gave up on Jack years ago.

This is one of the good things about TV in Canada; Global is showing Prison Break, 24, and Heroes one after the other tonight. Of course we pay for it in two weeks when we don’t get the super bowl ads.

Tee hee

After setting up a Parameter!

…or a perimeter.

If you don’t want to wait until Friday night to see it, you can watch it on the NBC website (with, I think, only 2 or 3 commercial interruptions, IIRC). Heroes - NBC.com They keep each week’s episode up until the next episode airs.

“Heroes” is more interesting than “24” could ever dream of being.

Well, technically, this has been 24’s regular time slot for quite a few years now. So perhaps it should be phrased, “who was the genius that scheduled Heroes to run at the same time as 24…”

Tim Goodman at the Chronicle is wondering the same thing.

And against The Sopranos and Six Feet Under? Life just ain’t fair, I tell ya.
