This was one of the best episodes of the season. Liz’s Steve Jobsian presentation had me busting a gut. They even had the shiny black floor under the screen.
Liz gave top front to save the TGS jobs. And weirdly, it worked.
I don’t know why she had to go to wardrobe and make-up to get a slutty outfit, she should have just used the clothes, hair, and make-up from the phone sex commercial she made.
The whole thing was hilarious - I agree, one of the funniest of the season.
That’s her worst quadrant!
Kennith! Get me Showtime!!
Huh. I thought it was one of the weaker episodes.
I was waiting for an explanation about why the bug fogger started the instant Jenna and Tracey opened the bedroom door, as if it was triggered by something they did. In fact, the whole Kenneth subplot didn’t work for me.
I thought Liz looked horrendous in the slut getup.
But I did like the cover of the magazine she held up to the writers in the beginning, boasting about their cover story. The headline was “The Death of Comedy”.
Oh- and at the very end, when Kenneth begins naming the birds, then black screen and credits. He continues, “Lorne… Michael…”
I know nothing about how these devices work, but I assumed they just blast intermittently or something.
If you only bug spray one room the roaches will just move to the other, that’s why you gotta spray everywhere at once. If Kenneth really had a rural background you’d figure he’d know more about pest control.
Yeah, the Kenneth-as-Serial-Killer plot was a dud, and not enough Alec Baldwin overall. But it’s still a great show.
Something I forgot to say before: DON PARDO! 91 years old!!! Nice job, my man.
I re-watched it to show my wife, the business exec. It was even funnier the second time around.
I love this show but I thought this week was… uninspired.
You wouldn’t be saying that if you got top front…
(by the way, so does that make it “cowgirl” vs. “reverse cowgirl”?)
It has been a few years since I used a do-it-yourself fogger but it is basically a spray can that you can lock into the open position. You start it, leave and it empties the can into the space targeted.
Beyond that, it is a sitcom. There would be nothing funny about opening a door to a depleted can of fogger.
I love that the henchmen consultants were from The Himmler Group.
And also Kenneth has had his bird for 60 years.
This was my favorite line from what I thought was a pretty weak episode. The bug fogger thing was necessary for the joke, but it was too contrived to be very funny–and not contrived in a good way. It didn’t even make funny sense.
I caught that one as well, but I just figured they didn’t have enough time left at that point to do anything with it…
…or maybe it was just a misspeak by the actor that got overlooked …
…or whatever. I’ve been wrong before.
What I found curious about this was:
A. That means her upper back rates higher.
B. Jacks knows this.
