I requested prior approval to start this thread and it was granted (thank you Tubadiva).
Every year for the past 35 years, the kids and the community of South Glens Falls, NY (and the surrounding area) have come together for a 2 day marathon dance to raise money for those in need. This year the dance will be on March 1-2.
What started as a small fund-raiser all those years ago has grown into a massive event that has raised more than $3.15 million dollars over the years. Last years’ total alone was a staggering $395,352.19! All this from an area of less than 20,000 people.
