The tv drama Third Watch has been a favorite of mine and I like the characters.
My question is: Bosco got mangled in an explosion months ago and reappeared recently. Was his absence as a result of illness? Was he taking time off to make a movie? or???
Jason Wiles, who plays Bosco, has been a busy guy. He produced and starred in a movie called “Open House” last year. If there is a seventh season, Wiles won’t be in it. According to this website, Wiles is planning to leave “Third Watch” in order to direct another movie, “Lenexa, 1 Mile,” which he co-wrote.
Actually, his character got shot to hell. His injuries were a result of the attack on the hospital by gunmen after the explosion.
I was really disappointed in last night’s episode when he asked Faith to shoot for him so he could requalify. I had hoped being near death and disabled for a time might change him. How selfish is it to want to go back on the streets when you can’t shoot straight enough to hit the side of a barn? Even if he doesn’t care about getting hit, what about all the potential innocent bystanders he could hit with his wild shots?
I hope his leaving the show means Faith doesn’t give in and do it for him. Unless, they do plan on having her help him qualify and then have him accidentally shoot a bystander which would lead to him leaving. I really hope they don’t do that, Faith has gotten into enough crap from helping him out.
