I saw the trailer with the tagline “new model, original parts” and my first thought was that the actors/actresses have all realized they aren’t A-list celebrities like they thought they were going to be after the first movie so they’ve grudgingly accepted to try for A-listdom again.
I watched the first trailer on the IMDB so I had the right to say it looks like a summer movie, alright. I’ll admit that it looks better than 2 Fast 2 Furious was (the only movie in this series that I’ve been forced to watch).
Anything Fast and Furious is a waste of time in my book. I hope this new movie bombs so they will stop making these films.
Those were basically my thoughts, except replacing that last part with, “… grudgingly accepted their position as C-list celebrities by accepting parts in a movie that will likely as not go straight to video.”
I’ll watch it when it’s on HBO or something. I like Vin Diesel, and Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift is one of my favorite guilty pleasure movies.
I thought they were all pretty good for mindless entertainment. Not to mention that 2 Fast 2 Furious has one of the best lines ever committed to film. My sister and I quote that movie all the time.
