!5 Megs isn't enough. Help me with my over-grown web page

So, I have a geocities web site for the sims. I offer downloads and useful info to other fans. Since I don’t get paid for providing this stuff, I don’t want to change to a pay site. Now that I’m out growning the 15 megs limit at geocities, I’m in a quandry as to what to do next. I have mirrored the page at 50megs.com, but frankly, I don’t like 50megs. I don’t like their file manager, and I don’t like the fact I’d have go give up my counter and guestbook, **and ** there doesn’t seem to be a way to link to a non-50megs webpage (somehow the comamand home gets automoatically turned into home which obviously doesn’t work) Since I’m at a total loss, I’d love some suggestions from you folks.

I’ve always used Tripod, and they provide 50 megs of web space. You have to deal with pop-ups or banner ads (your choice of which). And many people criticize Tripod, but I haven’t had a whole lot of trouble with them in the year and a half they’ve hosted my webpage.

Hmm - who provides your internet access??
Try them. you usually get 10megs for each username you have, and most ISP’s allow for at least 5-7 Usernames per account. so that’s 50-70 megs right there.

Also - Angelfire… has no popups, only small top banners, you can create multiple accounts and link to one another to hoggify all the space you need. Use your main, abnner free account to do the url referring, and the others to pick up your linking. FreeYellow, and as much as it sucks - Aye Oh Elle even.

Do a search for banner free webspace. Then there’s always the option to set yourself up as a server and allow downloading via ftp directly from your files. Lot’s of server software on the free download sites. Get a Cable/T1 connection & try dat!

But Angelfire works pretty well - especially if you’re just linking to remote files, stored there for download.

Oh if your html is going froggy, perhaps inlist the help of
someone who enjoys fiddling endlessly with it.

I’m sure plenty of people would offer to help if you asked nicely
