5 worst hit Sit-coms

By request: the worst of the hits. The ones that just make you question the tastes of not only the Neilsen families, but your fellow human beings in general.

  1. I Love Lucy - the unquestioned champion suck-fest-orama. If this was comedy then I’ll take drama the rest of my life, thank you very much.

  2. The Facts of Life - enough said.

  3. Malcolm In The Middle - total garbage, not a redeemable character anywhere

  4. Everybody Loves Raymond - no we don’t.

  5. Family Guy - cheap, bad Simpson’s knockoff, purile at best

YMMV, of course. What hits make you shake your head with disbelief?

**Malcolm ** and **Raymond ** I agree with. Family Guy is nothing like the Simpsons – which in fact now seems to be cribbing from FG’s style – and is one of the best shows, not the worst, on my lists.

Becker and Wings were pretty bad. Coach was easily my least favorite show ever, but I might be biased .

Vernoica’s Closet, Suddenly Susan, Caroline in the City – I could go on but I just got Oblivion installed!

How Mama’s Family stayed on the air so long while being so consistently unfunny continues to amaze me.

I came in here to say Small Wonder! And its boring kid-centric, humor-deprived cousins Punky Brewster, Webster, Alf and Full House. Not a laugh to be had among 'em.

I liked Raymond’s mother. Full House sucks, as does Harry and the Hendersons.

What was that god-awful thing with the blowsy wife, the trashy daughter and the moron husband?
That crapfest about the two gay guys with whatsername and that woman with the squealy voice that makes me want to perform a tracheotomy without anesthesia.

Married With Children. I hated that show.

I liked Raymond the first few years it was on. Then it became the same old, same old.

I never saw the humor in The Andy Griffith Show either. I think it played more toward the folksy than for actual laughs.

I agree with Three’s Company, was not funny at all and even worse was Suzanne Somers being crammed down our throat as teh hottness. Joyce Dewitt was cuter IMHO.

Full House was for children; it’s kind of unfair to compare it to sitcoms for grown ups.

I gotta say “Three’s Company” as well. John Ritter was always very funny. Unfortunately, the rest of the show sucked all the funny out of the TV.
