Your package arrived last week on Tuesday. I am sorry I did not post sooner, but I love the shot glass from New Hampshire, We are having my husband’s boss and his family over for dinner next week and those coasters will be in attendance. Thank you so much for sending the goodies all the way to Singapore.

I live within sight of the capital building. And the meadowlark is one of my favorite birds, it has such a lovely call.

But seriously, Apologies but I was a bit delayed in getting it in the mail to you, but it went out a fortnight or so ago now. Hope it gets there soon.
Actually you might have to thank the TSA for any extra hold up. Apparently as of a few months ago, any international package going into the US weighing over 500 grams takes an additional 3-4 working days and a $9 postage surcharge to cover additional screening costs or some such. Gotta watch out for those deadly Aussie postal bombs :dubious:
They were great, particulary liked the little mug one!
I would have totally missed the connection to Oz anyway. When I got your PM, I thought to myself, “why would he think to send something Australian-related to the Aussie?” 
I’ve been meaning to to see if I can find a sound file of the call online actually - you’ve reminded me to go do that.

It’s here! It’s here! I got my shotglass yesterday. Not one, but TWO shotglasses from Australia, a fridge magnet from Brisbane and some vegemite that I’m trying to get up the courage to try.

Just a bump. My glass isn’t here yet, but as I understand it’s coming from overseas, it may take a while longer. Didn’t want the sender to think I was ungrateful by not posting my thanks.
I may have a glass! I got home too late for the postman, and found an “attempted delivery” sticker on my mailbox. Tomorrow I’ll go to the post office and retrieve it.

OMG, you should see all the goodies I got. There’s a gorgeous tall shot glass, like a shooter, with Singapore emblems on the glass. There’s money from Singapore, a special chocolate bar, chopsticks, magazines about living in Singapore, a postcard, a funny little book about superstitions in Singapore and Malaysia. Also a card with my name written in Chinese characters, and a photo of it being painted. last but not least, two packets of seasonings from McDonald’s, flavors we don’t have in the US. One is seaweed seasoning, and the other is garlic chili. Can’t wait to try them.
Woo-hoo! Thanks so much, Happy Days, you were incredibly generous. But maybe I shouldn’t have told people how great you are, because next year everyone will want to have you!

I really enjoyed participating in the shot glass exchange. I loved the package I received from SurlyChick and I had fun picking out all the stuff to send with the shot glass. I have already caught myself thinking about what to put in the next one.
