Why is Lucy and her new husband living at her parents house in the garage? In the show where Kevin proposes to her he told her he had money and could afford the finer things in life. So why not live away from the family?
Don’t you think it is a little early to be introducing Lucy as “possibly” being pregnant? It has only been a matter of weeks from their marriage and now this?
Nah, it’s not really that early to be introducing the idea - the wedding episode was in early April, IIRC, and wasn’t the last episode of the season in mid to late May?
I think she’s pregnant. Only because it’s Lucy. Actually I think Matt & his wife are pregnant, only she’s not telling him that she really is (there was that thing in the last episode about having taken pregnancy tests…I thought you didn’t get false positives with pregnancy tests).
And as to why they are still living in the garage apartment? To keep them more involved in the show. They’ve already had to write Matt and Mary out of most episodes.
Why do you think Matt’s wife is pregnant and not telling him?
I guess you are right about them living in the garage apt. That would keep them in the show everyday.
I heard that Jessica Beal wanted off the show because she felt her image was being burned as a “good girl” and she wanted juicier roles. I heard she even did some really risque pictures and Spelling had a fit.
Yeah, it was for Maxim or some publication like that. Then she came back to the show, claimed the whole episode was a stupid rebelious stunt, and… yeah.
7th Heaven
When I see their happy faces smilin’ back at me…
7th Heaven
I know there is no greater feelin’ than the love of a family
Where can to go… when the world don’t treat you right?..
The answer is home… that’s the one place that you’ll find
7th Heaven
Mmmmmm… 7th Heaven
7th Heaven
Corny as it is, I don’t “hate” it, although hate is such a strong word. I find it to be a catchy tune for a feel-good type sensation.
It’s weird that I find this show to be good. I find it cheesy and sappy, but somehow good. I’m a guy, who likes the Sopranos, Simpsons, sports and other non-cheesy stuff and yet I find the time to watch 7th Heaven when I have the chance… I guess it’s a guilty pleasure of mine…
Isn’t this the sister in junior high? She’s married now?
OK, I guess it’s been a few years, but still …
Trivia: The girl who plays Lucy is older than the girl who plays the older sister.
I love the “living in the garage” thing … They do this all the time on shows as a way to keep everybody living under the same roof. Like when they wanted Fonzie to be a bigger part of Happy Days, suddenly the family “remembered” they had a perfect little room above the garage.
I can’t stand Lucy. She may be older than Jessica Biel but she looks like she is 12. The guy she is married to, at the least, looks like her much older brother and at worst looks old enough to be her dad. I never bought her and Robby, either, just because she looks, and acts, so young. Plus she is whiny and prissy.
To me, this show is like a bad car wreck. It is just so bad, yet I cannot look away. The only character I don't find completely annoying is the dad. Simon is a wannabe New Kid 15 years too late with a girlfriend who is way more hot than he could ever even hope to dream of in real life. Lucy...see above. The youngest girl is a smart aleck. The scenes by those twins make the old Full House Olsen twins scenes worthy of an Emmy by comparison. The mom is a complete control freak. And every single week they all have a bunch of contrived plots over minor things that unimportant and should be resolved quickly but instead require long discussions about how "I heard that she said that he told her about my discussion with...."etc., etc., Just shut up, get over it and stop looking towards a Chrissy-Jack discussion on Three's Company as the model of how to write good dialogue.
I heard that Ashley Simpson (Cecilia) is going to be a regular character on the show even though David Gallagher (Simon) is going off to school and only making recurring appearances. Huh? oh, btw IUHomer, you forgot to bash Ruthie (one of the most irritating characters in the history of TV, IMHO)
My daughter watches this show, so I see more of it than I would otherwise. Doe wants to get her hair cut like Lucy’s, so I had to actually watch (as in: pay attention to) a few minutes of it the other day. Is it just me or does the actress who plays Lucy look exactly like a live Cabbage-Patch doll?
To me it seems like since Mary and Matt moved away the show is revolving around Lucy. I think she is a whiney spoiled girl.
And the father is supposed to be a Pastor. I know many Pastors that live in a parsonages and they are no way in such great shape as the Camdens. And they always seem to have a lot of food.
