I’m a female tabby cougar-wannabe cat, currently residing in Hsinchu, Taiwan. i like to get on the internet whenever i can, which is usually when the Little Boy leaves it on and goes do something else (which is fairly often). my favorite sites are the SDMB (duh) and Neopets, and some of my favorite posters are Scylla, Crunchy Frog, Fenris, Esprix, and FairyChatMom (those are the first five i can think of). No need to grovel - really - don’t bother with the rose petals at my feet… it’s not necessary to gift me with expensive chocolates delivered by well-oiled scantily clad young studs… no, really, that’s way too much…
Okay, I had to use a dictionairy to figure that one out. Anyhoo, where are you in Taiwan and what are you doing? I lived in Taipei for 3 years (nanmen shichang and all over jingmei), but maybe that was before you were born. :eek:
China Guy, i’m in Hsinchu and i’m just being a nice little tabbycat for the Big Girl and her family… the only problem with that is that the Little Boy often takes me in for show and tell, science projects, and the like. but i put up with that for my daily catnip fix (mmmmm… catnip… :D)
One red and gold dragon here. Talons a foot long and wickedly curved. Married, for the time being, packing around a blond, blue eyed dragonet of the male gender. I live in that great unknown called Utah in the Western US. (I had a customer service person back east ask me once if Utah was in the continental US :rolleyes:

Hi, I am more a disembodied concept more than a manifest entity, but both of the Olethlings[sup]TM[/sup] think that they are cats. And babyboykitty is a huge Samurai Jack fan as well. Tonight they were eating popcorn from a bowl on the kitchen floor. On all fours, of course. They often sing and speak in cat language, and if I want to know what they are talking about I have to ask one of them to translate. The boy also sometimes imagines himself as Batman, Zorro, Dora the Explorer (he has gender issues at times), Thomas, and one of the Powderpuff Girls. The girl has pretty much stayed in cat mode since age 2, although her “baby” is a bunny.
We live near the infamous Rue DeDay and will possibly go by his house to Trick-or-Treat for wienies. The Olethlings[sup]TM[/sup] were both born in Ohio but believe that they are from Switzerland and that I am from Germany. We moved back to the US from Thailand in June of this year.
When I am not on the boards or cat wrangling I can be found playing soccer, fantasy football or volleyball. Sometimes I work, but try not to make a habit of it.
In June of next year I will take another tour through Asia to watch the World Cup. If any of my flights come through Taipei I can try and bring some catnip.

I look in the pit to see why people are so unhappy. I go to Cafe Society to see what folks are interested in. I am an internet news junkie: every morning I hit the Nando Times and The Philadelphia-area news site, news.philly.com.
