I was surprised that he died, and his moments with Claire were— well, I’m ferklempt(ish). Judith Light is playing the hell out of that role without overplaying it, both the broad comedy and tonight, moving nuance.
Speaking of, has that affected any of the episodes already airing? The reason I ask is that Marc seemed to be written by a different writer. His response that “We have to find this ‘Charity’ woman and kill her!” was way more Jack from Will & Grace or even Kelly Bundy than Marc, who might be devious, scheming, self-absorbed, and flaming, but isn’t stupid. (And not even a mention of Cliff? He just leaves him there in his “new found hotness” without even a cell-phone call?)
I loved Ladies Man Henry- silk, suede, but never played (or however it went). Christopher Gorham is in this week’s PEOPLE for the “sexiest mens” issue. (They passed over me again- I’ve got to stop wearing this Lamb’s Blood cologne.)
Do you think Yoga will make it to Italy or will she go back to prison to reunite with Pesci?
I don’t know, but I get a kick out of their relationship. I can’t figure it out, which is part of what makes it fun. I was rolling on the floor every time Claire called Yoga on her inept fugitive/criminal skills.
Do you think maybe Yoga has a crush on/is hot for/loves Claire and Claire knows this but won’t acknowledge it for fear of hurting Yoga and ruining their friendship?
Speaking of Claire, in spite of the characters being rather deeply flawed (one a murderer and the other an adulterous bastard) and the fact there was a lot of comedy, I thought Claire at Bradford’s deathbed was one of the most touching scenes on any TV show recently. What a great comeback role for Judith Light.
What I like about their relationship is they’re such a cute odd couple. I think there’s obvious love, but whether there’s an “in love” thing going on is kinda none of our business. I just love their interaction.
I really hope they can get Claire out of jail so she & Yoga can continue their silly adventures together.
Spinoff! The first ever telenovela/sit-com/travel show.
What I love is how Yoga’s becoming such a snob. “I am so glad to hear you say [we’re not going to Italy] because everybody says that Montenegro is what Tuscany used to be!”
