In season 2, episode 2, Hank takes off work when Walt goes missing (kidnapped by Tuco). Before Hank goes into Walt’s house, he checks out the Amazon in the driveway. He feels around a fender and takes off one of those magnetic tracking things. When/ why was that tracker put on Walt’s Amazon at that point in the series?
That doesn’t sound familiar. Was he feeling around for a spare key maybe? Did he go into the car afterwards?
I’m looking all over the internet trying to jog my memory and I can’t find anything about a GPS in season 2.
I recall that being one of those spare keyholders.
ETA: in fact, a second later if you see him rooting around in Walt’s car.
I just watched the scene. He checks the doors, they’re locked, he checks the wheel wells, finds the spare key and then you see him in the car. It was just a spare key. If you pay close attention you can see him open the case.

shudder I kept expecting that horror to show up in the finale, and can’t make up my mind whether to be relieved or disappointed that it did not.
