You think you’ve got problems? I’ve never started a thread the Mods deemed worthy of closure, which leaves me feeling inadequate.
They usually just die after three or four posts anyway.

Back when the board was but a wee thing, and still lived on AOL, we successfully did a set of awards, and it was fun. In the very early days of the web board, we again did a fairly successful set of awards, but it was difficult and it teetered on the edge of civility by the end. Later attempts as the board grew (and there were many, attempted by many people) were flat out hostile and ugly. Trust me and the others who have commented before me… this wasn’t a “second attempt”… the idea has been fully fleshed out in the past and we’ve seen exactly what effect it has on the community. 
You get 3 or 4 posts? Lucky you. I usually end up with a negative view count!

I’m also surprised by the number of times I said “I remember that guy. What happened to him?”
Anyone who messes with someone who may well be the Queen of Sheba is certainly stupid.
I guess I can see how that could happen what with so many egos involved. Still, it’s a shame everyone can’t be more like me. I would never get all worked up over such a silly thing.
Unless it was the “Least Likely To Get An Award” Award. Then I’d fight to the death! 
Did some of them get unlocked again? I just searched for threads you started, and my math came out the same as everyone else’s: you’ve started 59, and a grand total of two of them have been locked.
I wouldn’t sweat it if I were you. Just pay close attention to the rules for each forum and make sure you start your threads in the right places. The mods don’t seem to bother us much if we read the stickies and follow the instructions.
