A Christmas Party with a vengeance!

Well, we finally got our Christmas work party scheduled. Apparently its being held in the new Nakatomi Plaza building, the top two stories are still under construction but that shouldn’t be a problem should it?

Kind of going through a rough patch with the wife at the moment, any ideas for a nice gift I could bring her?

Packing tape, a purse sized first aid kit, a German dictionary and a picture of a fake family to cover up that nice picture of you on her desk.

Bring a spare pair of shoes.

Pink hard hat and yellow umbrella for the party.

But for the wife? No idea.

Just what I needed during this long day, thanks.

A new watch to replace the Rolex she’ll be losing later in the evening?

Thanks for the ideas everyone!

I see no reason why this shouldn’t go smoothly, although I’m flying out of Washington Dulles International Airport and there may be a snowstorm coming in. Can’t see that causing any major difficulties though, what could possibly go wrong?

Am I the only one completely perplexed and confused about this thread?

It does appear to be written in English; that’s about all I can glean from it.

No, no you’re not

You know what to do for the jet lag, right?

It’s a reference to a film.

OP: A big stuffed bear would be nice.
And a couple boxes of 9mm.

Maybe a couple guns and some heavy duty socks. Antibiotics in case you get cut at all during the evening.

Some Twinkies, in case you get the munchies

Great. I’m glad it was in MPSIMS then.

Perhaps I could ask picunurse to request it gets moved?

It seems pretty darn mundane and pointless to me.

Indeed!

Apologies if I confused anyone, just meant to be a bit of Christmas related fun, although I naively assumed everyone had seen Die Hard at some point, not a valid assumption coming from somone who has never watched any Rambo or Rocky film…(much to the annoyance and disgust of a colleague, she keeps encouraging me to watch them and I refuse, just to wind her up)

Yippie-ki-yay-muddy-funsters!

When you go, give my regards to Mr. Falcon.

What day is it? I live a few blocks from Nakatomi Plaza and I’d like to go out on my back deck and watch the fireworks.

Just keep in mind that there are no rivers adjacent to Dulles, and the departure drop-off lane is on a separate level from the arrival pick-up lane. And they’re both straight. And neither one has PacBell pay phones.

You should never assume with wives. She might not have seen it. Have you thought of bringing her some clips?

You know if thats your idea of an Xmas thread, I’ve just gotta be here for New Year’s.
