Dude. No offense but I’m genuinely curious - in what social circles do young guys teach each other about masturbation through demonstration? That wouldn’t have been considered a normal part of growing up by myself or any of my friends (that I know of).
I do remember the first time I heard about masturbation - I was about 8 years old and it was at a friend’s house when there were several boys playing video games. He briefly described what the word meant, some child-like snickering followed, and that was that. There was definitely no demonstration.
Huh, really? When I was in middle school, it was common for some of the boys to hang out at one another’s homes after school, before the parents got home, and watch porn/look at dirty mags, and jerk off together.
Never. None of my schools before high school had gym showers. High school did, but almost everyone just waited until they went home. It was an all-guys school, and the general impression was that there was no need to shower after gym, because “Who are you trying to impress?”.
I have occasionally seen other penes in various contexts (showers at camp, for instance), but never really tried to have a good look, and never noticed any erect ones.

Nope. Come to think of it, the dicks in the locker room in high school are the only ones I’ve seen, and we had PE at the end of the day so showers were fairly rare and I didn’t have to see many.
I may have many regrets in life, but not seeing more than one penis my whole life is not among them.
I was wondering if we were being whooshed by Vox never having seen anyone naked and I just was wondering how he could have missed all those guys in gym class. It was participating in gym class, including changing and showering that I suggested was part of the socialization process.
I’m female, but we never showered in gym class. We changed clothes, but showering wasn’t a part of the process. There wouldn’t have been much time for it anyway, I don’t think.
The showering after gym class is not something I think a lot of teenage guys enjoy or feel is an important part of socialization. I remember it as something to be endured and gotten through as quickly as possible.
There was always the one guy that was hung like John Holmes, though. That guy was happy to stay in the shower all day. That was the guy who created life-long self-esteem problems for everybody else.
