No poison ivy, I have Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria which translates to “yep, you got hives and we have no idea why.” I seem to be going through another severe cycle where I get breakthrough hives even though I’m on antihistamines. On top of that I also have what I believe to be contact dermatitis in a few spots around my waist that is painful, itchy and looks disgusting. I think I leaned against some spilled cleaner around a sink and since it soaked into my scrub top it stayed against my skin. I’ve ruled out bacterial infection because it would be 100 times worse after using steroid creams for days.
Anyway, the gist of it is that I am very itchy and miserable.

All purtified for deheatenization. The clouds have turned into sunshine but might get cloudy again. The forecast says we might, maybe, kinda, sorta get some rain. Or not.

I’ve had some tea and am fighting the impulse to have breakfast since we’re having brunch at 10:30. After that, I’ll be off to church and then back here to put my bedroom back together again, off to watch the World Cup final, then back here again to do more decluttering and some work in the garden.

Good… err… afternoon! After the long day yesterday, everybody slept in. We still have cleaning to do, though.
Groceries are groced and put away. Meat has been repackaged and is in the freezer. I also roasted three bone in skin on chicken breasts, and cubed them up for later meals.
I’m gonna make a beer butt chicken for dinner, with sweet corn on the cob, and Bush’s Grillin’ Beans.
I donwanna go back to work tomorrow! Wah!
I need a nap! Waaaaah.

Home again, trying to get motivated to do something really productive. Someone kick me off the couch, please!
Last game in the World Cup was exhausting. Really suspenseful game.

I nappypooed and then MOG came over and we hung at the pool, had a few drinks, shared a box of CheezIts[sup]TM[/sup] and otherwise had a good time float loungin’ and a good gossip catch up. Then it rained because I put some water in the pool which will, naturally, always cause it to rain. So far not enough that I have to let water out of the pool but, miraculously, we should get up to three quarters of an inch of rain by daylight tomorrow which will mean lettin’ water out of the pool. It’s a foolproof method of rain everytime!
Anywho, that’s been my day in swampworld.
