A hamfest is like a big flea market for those into amateur radio; right up TVman’s alley.
Saturday! Took the pups to the dog park, where they proceeded to get covered in mud. I was really surprised it was open, since it’s been raining so much and it floods the park quite often.
Washing clothes and trying to think of menus for the week.
Still no Dipsey. Every time we drive by there, we give them the stink eye. :mad: I have a feeling the SPCA contacted them, and they are being extra careful not to let him out. Which is good, in a way. At least he’s not running the streets.

So far today I’ve helped my mom clean a bunch of stuff that was on display and hadn’t been cleaned in four years or so, balanced my checkbook that hadn’t been balanced since December, paid my bills with almost the last of my money, and picked up my room. I still need to do my filing, empty the trashcan which is now very full, photograph some stuff to sell, and work on my etsy site.

A couple of friends came over. One of them has some particularly good drama goin’ on, meanin’ we listened to it all and then snarked on it after he left. We are some bad peoples we are! He was ridin’ a whole herd of drama llamas! Oh well, I think he just needed to vent it all and maybe that was a good thing we let him. Still didn’t stop the snark. We are teh evils!
OYKW called and we let him in on the snark. He’s disappointed he missed hearin’ it cause it just ain’t as good secondhand.

Baby shower was fun. Only a few games and no one was forced to play, so it was quite laid back. Food was good, company was nice, there were several well-behaved and cute little kids (they had space to run around in, but were really quite quiet).
Now I’m mapping out what I need to do tomorrow and considering trying to fall asleep.

We’re finishing up the bedrooms. Son’s bedroom is done: he’s all moved in to the new one. Daughter’s is being rearranged and Star Wars curtains are being put up. Now all we have to do is get her the sheet set and comforter. She’s such a Star Wars geek.

So, I think I slept about 11 hours last night! And this morning I had the backache to prove it. Fortunately I took some aspirin and I’m feeling better now. I’m just waiting for TVMan to wake up from his morning nap so that I can make breakfast. Then we’re heading out again to Hanoverton for Peddler Days! I’m very excited about this as my number 1 favorite restaurant in the world is in Hanoverton. I’m sure that I’ve mentioned it before, The Spread Eagle Tavern. They had a ghost walk last night which would have been totally cool, but I’m sure today will be fun, too.
