If you wanted to convince me that the military is against Bush, you’d have to show me low approval ratings by military personel. Some vague statement about cuts in military housing means nothing. Are the troops sleeping in parking lots on US bases here?

John, I don’t think that the commercial was saying the military is against Bush. It was saying that Bush is no friend of the military. Seems like a pretty traditional US style smear campaign ad. Calling Bush a Turkey in the second line stamps it “Alternative Press” though. 
IANAUSCitizen so I don’t have a lot of incentive to wade through the ad’s cites and check how valid the points are.
Not to be a junior mod but since this is kinda asking for a Bush pile-on maybe it’s more pit suited?
Caranl: Yes, but my point was that I’ll let the military people themselves decide if Bush is their friend. Not some smear ad. I actually did some googling to see if there are polls out there to give us some facts about the military’s overall rating of Bush, but couldn’t find any. If anyone has some cites, I’d be interested in seeing the numbers.
