For the record I always read HFH as Her Fucking Highness, which still wasn’t far off really.
:Sticks and Scones likes this post.:
Her Fucking Highness works
but then I need a new name for the male half.
Just change the pronoun.
I would totally have gone to prom with a zombie clown shark, had one asked me.
Well, if it was a girl zombie clown shark. I was still pretty unreconstructed back in 1974.
Worked, came home, sat down and drank it over a bit.
I knew there was a reason I liked you.
You win the thread for that!
: dogbutler agrees :
Good morning, and happy Saturday. The weekend couldn’t get here soon enough!
I’ve been up since around 2am. One of the cats decided to hork on my bed. Just on the comforter, and light blanket. So, off I went to get that cleaned up, and then they went into the washer. The comforter and the blanket. Not the cats, although it did sort of cross my mind.
Not the best way to start my day, that’s for sure. But, now they’re in the dryer, and will soon be done, so there’s that. I’m only on my second cup of coffee, too. Ah, the nectar of the brown bean!
My husband should be home sometime this afternoon. Hopefully early enough to be able to make use of the remains of the day. I had hopes of getting some crap out of the basement, and into the trash, but, I’m not sure that’ll happen. It has been needing to be done for a long time. I won’t do it, and my daughter won’t do it, because we’re afraid of those giant, harmless, tan/brown striped crickets (Camel crickets?), and the giant, mostly harmless Wolf spiders. My husband told us that we’re both sissies, because we should be worried about Brown Recluse spiders, instead. I told him that he was really not helping the situation. :dubious: So, he’s going to go down there, and start handing stuff off to me, which I’ll hand off to our daughter, who will toss it all into the trash. Works for me. But, the first time a spider crawls on me, so help me, Deity, I’m DONE, and out of there!
We’re supposed to get up to 52 degrees, here in west central Indiana, and it won’t be as windy as it was yesterday. Good thing, because the wind was getting on my last nerve. It was really blowin’ out there, and it was a bit annoying.
I hope everyone has a good day!
That’s what I’ve always read it as.
Day 5 of a 6-day week, 5 days of which are training the new girl. Detailed AGM will be in today. Perhaps I can tempt him to let me go out for lunch if I promise to share one of my free Chick-fil-a coupons with him.
They just opened a new Chick-fil-a on my street and the Corporate Opening People who are opening it are staying at my irk. One of them gave us free sammich coupons. She also told us about the protesters hanging around on opening day because they do not approve of the personal beliefs of their corporate overlords. Squirrel AGM, who is a member of the Rainbow Alliance, was waiting patiently for his free coupons. Detailed AGM, who is also a card-carrying member of the Alliance has also been eagerly awaiting opening day. Dude, Chick-fil-a sammiches are awesome.
Happy Caturday, mumpers!
I was up early to do something that involved a 'puter and my diary but I have been slothful instead and now can’t remember what it was I’d meant to do. Oh well, it’ll come back to me at some point. I must be in need of more tea.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 64 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 73 for the day. A cooldown temp wise. Now the weather PTB are sayin’ cloudy with a not so much chance of rain today but tonight, tomorrow, and Moanday will be rain/tstorm/apocalypse, especially Moanday.
Today’s plans include figurin’ out what to make to take to brunch over to the church house tomorrow. I am feelin’ uninspired and don’t know what to make. I will take a gallon each of sweet and unsweet tea as I always do, but what kinda casserole type foodstuff I am undecided. Life is so hard sometimes!
Ace the crickets and spiders won’t bother you. It’s the snakes that are sneaky .
Spaz personal/political beliefs aside, I just don’t like Chick-fil-a. They just ain’t all that to me.
Now I need more caffiene and should consider feedin’ rumbly tummy. I don’t feel like cookin’ so I have a feelin’ it’s a cereal kinda mornin’.
Happy Sattidy Y’all!
Spaz, I’m not into Chick-fil-a, either. The chicken just doesn’t taste quite right to me, I guess. I’m glad you like it, though. I’ve got a BIL who adores it.
Swampy, yeah. The snakes don’t bother me. The spiders and crickets DO. OMG.
I heard Higgs at 6:30, but by then, I’d pretty much slept 8 hours, so I got up and tended to the little black goofball. When she’s freed from her crate, she runs immediately to out bedroom door, which is closed so she can’t assault FCD. Then she runs back to me, jumping up, trying to get petted, trying to bite my fingers, getting underfoot while I get the doors open to let her out.
Once she’s back inside and I start putting her food dish together, she paces and frets because it takes probably a WHOLE MINUTE AND SHE’S STARVING!!!11!!! The funniest part is when I’ve finished mixing the wet food with the kibbles: first I scrape what I can off the spoon and into the bowl. Then I carry the spoon aaaaaaaaaaall the way over to the sink - maybe 3 steps? - to rinse it off. Finally, I turn back and pick up the dish. At that point, Higgs is sitting in the dining room doorway (her dish goes on the kitchen floor right there) literally vibrating in anticipation, sometimes whining. She looks as if she’s ready to explode! Worst of all, she’s not allowed to eat till we tell her “Okay” - not that she’ll always wait that long. After all, we might delay 3 or 4 seconds!
I need to get **FCD **to make a video of dinner time some day - it’s hilarious!
It’s a foggy morning at FairyChatEstates. We’re pretty sure ShedGuy won’t show up today, which means we probably won’t see him before Weds. He certainly won’t work tomorrow, and we’re supposed to get rain on Monday. That means he’ll be worried about the wet ground on Tuesday… Honestly, we weren’t in a hurry to get this done, but he told us he’d do it last Weds, then Thurs, they surely on Fri… Just pick a day and stick to it, dammit!!!
No idea what today will hold. I was going to do some laundry - theoretically, we’ll get some sun today. We may go over to the gym later today when the pool opens. I don’t know. I don’t care. I don’t have to care - I’m retired!
**doggio **- what do I win? Perhaps a giant chocolate bunny??
Happy Saturday!
How about my Peach French Toast Casserole? You could cut the french bread into small chunks for taste-sized servings.
You’re welcome.
Good idea MOOOOOOM but I went ahead and took some chikin tenders out to thaw. I decided to make a pasta sallit with grilled chikin. Tenders don’t take forever to thaw. I figure I’ll grill ‘em up around N.O.L. time when I grill up some hotdawgs for N.O.L. Multi-task grillin’. Go Me!
Despite it being the weekend I am very blah today. I hope this day gets better. Maybe I should go back to bed and start again.

Happy Saturday!
It’s a cool, bright, sunny and breezy 47 degrees ouside outside.
I have a sore throat, a one sided runny nose, and an ear ache. Lovely way to start the day.
I’m having cup of soup for breakfast, the warm broth will help.
Lunch today will be pork barbeque, I don’t remember which brand I bought but I have some nice NY deli rolls to have it on.
Up and caffeinated, tailgating this afternoon. I’m making Alton Brown’s meatballs.
[Caddyshack]Oh ,there’ll be no bunny, but on your deathbed you will receive total consciousness[/Caddyshack]
Feel better, Sari.
Back from breakfast and erranding.I ran into my ex-boss in Lowe’s - just kinda said “Hi” and kept walking - I really didn’t want to chat.
Got a load of towels in the washer and maybe 2 more loads today. The rest will wait till it’s sunny again on Tuesday. No shed guy - big surprise.
I need to do some plant-feeding. And the dishwasher needs to be emptied. Not sure what else. Not particularly motivated. But it is sunny and nice out, so there’s that.
Ehhh.
We need to bring a good script writer in to the project, cause script writing is totally different, as I learned last night while celebrating two award winning authors & their new TV deal.
::clears throat:: ::taps toes:: :: glares::  (youse allowed to not like crickets!)
I overslept a widdle bit this moanin’; well, the past two nights it was Lawrence Welk time (the first two digits on the clock being a one anna two) when I got into bed & the first digit on the alarm was a three.
Was still out a quite early; (slightly shortened) training done; errands done; now it’s nappy time as I got a long day/drive ahead in a bit.
