A Football Follow-up MMP

She wouldn’t be able to reach from the top of the fridge, and doesn’t try to grab from the printer, thankfully.

She does seem a bit needier about attention lately, too.

Up, caffeinatred, and sheveled. Off to work. Wolfpack won the hockey game. And I won the auction for one of the jerseys off the player’s back.

I guess 6 counts as sleeping in when you normally get up at 5, right? Higgs has been tended to and I’m thinking about caffeinating. I’ve got chores to do today, including laundering all 3 of the afghans I made so I can take them to Mom tomorrow. I started another last night - knitting this time.

I’ve got a whole bunch of wool and I don’t know what I’ll do with it. It’s not good for these afghans because they’re going to nursing homes, and the last thing they need is something that requires special handling. I may just run an ad giving it away to someone who uses wool, or maybe I can find something to do with it that won’t be a care issue. Must google.

Other than that, Happy Last Saturday of January!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 38 Amurrkin out and partly cloudy with a predicted high of 55 and partly cloudy (does that make it mostly N.O.S.?) for the day. Not a whole lot on the agenda for the day which is fine by me. We may go out for N.O.L. Or not. I have a gnawin’ and a cravin’ for brekkie for dindin so I’m thinkin’ ham 'n cheese omelets, grits, and bizkits. Other than that I foresee a day of sloth.

Flipper! LTNS!

Rio I’ve heard that about Dodge before particularly concernin’ trucks.

Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then I suppose I should purtify. One must look good while one sloths about.

Happy Sattidy Y’all!

Dang, doggio, you’re a demanding fan. Taking the shirts off the player’s backs. Indeed!

I have decided that Vincente Fox is my new favorite person. I’ve been reading his Twitter feed and it’s almost convinced me to sign up to the site just so I can follow him.

Happy Saturday!

It’s cloudy and 34 degrees outside. It didn’t feel that cold when I let the dog out. Yesterday was horribly windy and cold though, we even had some flurries.
We got all our groceries though and we can easily go another two weeks+ if we have to.

Nothing special to do today, laundry, housecleaning, irk, and finish putting the groceries away. I was so sick yesterday that when we got back from the store I ate some lunch and went to bed.

Cats be weird Nettie
Mine always wants attention but the last two days he’s been a little more independent with me. However, he’s been following Sah-son around begging for attention, which is about as easy as getting blood from a stone.

One day Swampy I’m going to show up at your house for dinner.

Back from breakfast, driving thru the car wash, and looking at sheds/garages for sale on the side of the road. **FCD **wants to get a garage for the truck, so we need to figure out what size we need and if it will fit where we’d want it.

First load of laundry is in the washer. Three more to go, including sheets and afghans. It’s overcast, cold, and unnice outside. Glad to be inside and warm.

I have managed to purtify. Go Me! Just thought y’all would want to know I’m all cleanded.

In other words, you were driving around looking for a garage sale?

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! :stuck_out_tongue:

Howdy Y’all! We went to the little bar up the road for N.O.L. OYKW had a bacon cheese burger and fries and I had their chikin strips with fries which comes with a small salad so my N.O.L. was healthier. Oh and we had a beer each. The place is kinda good and reasonable. We have since resumed sloth mode. Matter of fact OYKW is nappin’. I may join him soon.

BigKitty HEE!

I think 2 more brain cells are firing. Yay for progress!

I moved all of our plane tickets to tomorrow, figuring me on a plane today wasn’t happening. Had to call them twice because I booked the wrong dates the first time.

Today’s goals: pack and sleep

Tomorrow: on the shuttle at 6:30

Yay me.

Yay Doggioo on winning the jersey.

'Tis chilly here today. Got down to 59F and is currently 67F. I have the heat on.

Since it’s cold I have been hunkered down thus far today. Hubby’s bringing stuff from the store for a pot of veggie beef soup. That should warm us up.

Well Trump has banned 134,000,000 people from the country :smack:

Big Kitty I like Mr. Fox too.

Can be? :dubious: You mean there’s another setting?

Maybe I am just an evile, mean, crotchety old man, but this story has more than given me my daily giggle. This man who purports to be a man of strong moral Christian family values sure goes to some somewhat less than moral upright places. Not only that but goes out of his way to go to them as one would have to make a special stop at either place. Neither is on his way to or from Etlanner and Cuthbert. I’m sorry he got shot and glad he was not seriously wounded and is home recoverin’, but still, it’s just too dang funny!

TMI warning:

We went to a party last night. Lots of hors d’oeuvres*, some wine, and a tequila shot.
I paid for it at five this morning. And again at seven. Then I took a loperamide. Still feel crappy. :o

[/TMI]

Mom, didn’t you say you had lots of pink yarn? You could make some of those pussyhats** everybodies wearing.?

Swampy, your story just reinforces what I have long observed about politicians in general. Alternative facts is not a new concept. That’s all I’ma gonna say about that.

*I can’t spell hors d’oeuvres. Never could. I checked it on Word and that’s how it’s spelled, according to them. So there.

**That’s what they call them. Really. They’re supposed to look like cats ears and be pink.

So you bid on the right to undress a guy? I thought we already had someone in here who liked to do that. You know where this is going, right

You could open an Afgan stand

:dubious:
Started the day on snowshoes, then was in the 40°ish degree water.

It was the tequila that did you in; that stuff is teh eeeevil.

**Bumba **- I don’t have lots of pink yarn any longer - but I do have a multi-pink afghan laundered and bagged and in the car. I’ll be delivering 2 afghans and a lap robe to my mom tomorrow.

We’ve fixed the fence, cut up some logs, finished the laundry, and now we’re going to get a burger.

Good times!!

Coached an indoor soccer game (we won 4-0), then refereed two more. Home now and planning to stay there.

We wound up going to Cheeseburger in Paradise. We both got the fish-n-chips. Think Mrs. Paul’s fish sticks and shoe string potatoes. Yeah. yum. right. It’s now on our list of where NOT to get fish-n-chips.

And now, chillage shall ensue.
