A Fresh Start MMP

soidey ouchie! Hope it ain’t hurt to bad!

I have been productive. I sat in on a conference call but was not a very good participant. Questions to me were answered yes, no and otherwise as briefly as possible. Plus I have communicated with [del]minons[/del] assistants on various things I am sure they can handle.

Now 'tis meds and nappy poo time.

Oh and OYKW, JDD, and Partner are meetin’ at Sonny’s (MOOOOOOM) for dindin. I think that will do me good plus OYIKW will be my chauffeur bein’ as drivin’ is not my thang as of yet. Got to get over that by Sunday as I have ush dutry for deheathinization.

Ok, off to nappy poo.

Laterz!

No we don’t. We like poking him with sticks.

Ow! Hope it heals quick.:frowning:

Maybe *you *do, but I’m nice, dammit! :stuck_out_tongue:

Trash and recycling have been dispatched with all due diligence. Plus I took care of my business with the credit union, so yay. The dishes are done, and it’s too wet to hang out laundry. Also too wet for yard work. Seems like a good excuse to recline with a good book, ya think?

So is anyone else dealing with pollen fog today?

Happy Firday!

It’s a foggy 47 degrees outside, supposed to get up to 70.
Warm is good.

I’ve accepted that I am getting screwed on taxes this year.

Ouchie Spidey
I can tell you are from PA - slippy, and I know first hand about scrubbing bubbles.

Anyway, SSDD

I’m dealing with a thunderstorm.

With the long winter we’ve had, I almost forgot how much I hate and fear thunderstorms.

There’s really nothing to like about them. As a friend of mine once said, “They’re noisy, wet and scary.” I don’t understand that some people like them or even actually find them relaxing. It’s not too bad if I’m inside, but I still find them kind of spooky even when I’m inside. I mean, some years ago, a local family’s house was struck by lightning and they had to live in a tent.

And even when I’m inside, I can’t stand sudden loud noises.

Swampy feel better soon! I can tell I have missed the news.:frowning:

Spidey likewise. Hope the ouchie improves.

I haz a situation. A few weeks back, the neighbor’s daughter (?) and SO, or is it son and his SO, regardless they’re a couple, showed up. In a trailer and truck from the late 70’s. 'Round about then the cat poop began showing up on my front porch.

The trailer is in the street now, up on blocks. The truck is parked nearby, hood up. Two cats and a black dog are periodically released to relieve themselves wherever, AKA someone’s yard, because this is a residential neighborhood.

The time I walked out and the 6 month old-ish kitten handed itself over (ok it was adorable) by the time honored technique of purring around my feet, I did pick it up and March over to the trailer. To be greeted by the sounded of expletives from behind the door, as the dude was screaming at the lady. I knocked anyway, she popped out gladly and took the cat.

It is illegal in my “fine” town to live in trailer on the street. I’m also aware that sometimes people don’t have a choice. I’m not happy about the “free range” animals. I’m worried about the woman. I’m thinking welfare check call to the police?

Decisions, decisions. :frowning:

**Sunny **- I’d report it for sure. It’d be bad enough in someone’s yard, but on blocks in the street? Wrong. Even without the cat poo, I would not be happy.

Looks like a bunch of UPS packages aren’t going to get there. A UPS semi hit the center divide on a local bridge and caught fire this morning. Pretty much burned down to the tires.

If you know anything of the SF Bay Area, you’ll know it’s a terrible mess when the CHP is recommending going down 80, taking the Bay Bridge, driving across San Francisco and coming back up on the Golden Gate and 101 as a good detour for the Richmond bridge.

Fortunately, nobody was hurt. The driver was a 13-year veteran with UPS and this was his first accident.

And yes, definitely report the derelict trailer and truck. Most Bay Area cities and/or counties get a bit persnickety about anything that looks like an abandoned vehicle.

Howdy Y’all! I’m feelin’ more back to the land of the livin’. I’ve been somewhat productive even. Also lookin’ forward to goin’ to dindin at Sonny’s tonight. YUM!

sunny I’d report it too. A trailer up on wheels in the strets is not a good thing.

I wish I could go to Sonny’s. :frowning: I’m trying to decide what we should have for supper. I’m stumped. And hungry!

ok - I’m feeling guilty as heck, but I called in the trailer.

My prediction, cause this is how it goes, they will move up into the driveway right next to my property line and spend their time trying to figure out who finked on them.

As I came up the walk 5 minutes ago the dog was in my yard on my porch. :smack:

I guess I’m feeling guilt over calling the cops (narc!!!) or something. Plus, there but for the grace of god. Although I know my folks would let me live in the house. It does the cross the mind a bit. I might be a worrier.

sunny, you could always put a sofa & fridge on your porch. :stuck_out_tongue:
There’s still a bit of a bump on my shin & I’m sure it’ll become multi-colored in the coming days.

Embarked on a new musical adventure today. Well, a new music project. It’ll take a while, so I hope I can finish it. I’m notorious for starting music projects and not finishing them. A certain Schubert symphony has nothing on me. :stuck_out_tongue:

We had spaghetti for supper. The cheese will expire soon, so I used lots of cheese.

Now Spidey you know sunny ain’t one for puttin’ on airs!

Back from dindin at Sonny’s. I had ribs 'n smoked chikin, fries, baked beans and cornbread. OYKW had brisket, fries, beans and garlic toast. Sonny’s is generous with the baked beans which are so tasty you have to eat 'em all up. Thus I am certain a major fart fest shall ensue.

Just FYI - if the cheese isn’t fuzzy or dessicated, it’s not expired.

We ordered pizza. And my dessert was chocolate bunny ears! YUM!

Loverly weekend ahead - I think my goal is to pick up all the sticks. We’ll see how that goes.

Today is a day for the author-i-tays, it seems. I picked up the girl child from school. We swung through McD’s for a snack. No the usual pattern, but it’s Firday. As I did so, i see a plumbin contractor swinging out of a parking spot the wrong direction - he (didn’t see the driver, so I’m being sexist), slams into the fine looking red mustang parked next to him. Drives off without leaving a note.

I called and reported the name of the plumbing company. If I were a little quicker with the phone I would’ve snapped a photo. The police dispatcher recognized my voice. I guess we’re not a busy town.

Ouch, spidey!

What a busy day. But irk is done for the week, the groceries bought and supper being eaten.

Tomorrow, I’ll be staffing the sign up desk / ater station for the adopted creek clean up, then the last rehearsal for the women’s choir before Sunday’s performance.

Home from work and for a special; dinner and much leftovers we ordered the Pig Out Special from our favorite pizza joint - a dozen garlic wings, an Italian grinder, and a large pizza with shrooms and peperoni. The wings and grander were great and the pie makes fantastic leftovers.
