Rakeage has begun. I’ve already worked up a sweat in less than an hour. In to get a mug of ice water, then back out I go. At least it’s nice out.
It’s dreary and rainy here. Also waaaaaaaaay muggy out. I have chopped celery, onion, apple and pee-kahns for the chikin sallit. I have also accomplished a strawberry congealed sallit and the bakeage from brownies from a mix, don’t judge! Most of the brownies have been [del]hidden[/del] put away for tomorrow. A few are out so the spoiled brat won’t pout.

Swampy nothing wrong with mix brownies, I think they are one of the few things that work out better from a mix.
It’s windy here, very windy.
Dishwasher was unloaded, reloaded and is washing now.
When it is done I’ll start the chili - being that the pot I need is being washed.
I need to vacuum sometime today. Usually Sah-son does the vacuuming but sometimes I feel like I should do it.
Would it be the height of laziness to buy an upstairs vacuum? One day when I’m rich I’m going to have a central vac, Those things are cool.

Been up since 4:30am; at Cherry Blossom Parade since 6am in a sat truck on standby ‘just in case’ the main uplink fails.
Totally ass bored, 6th day, when I clock out I’ll be @ 70 hours for the week.
Passing the time surfing the web, have stumbled on the music/dance group World Order.
Has made this day go by so much nicer.

I don’t understand the disdain boxed mixes. So what if someone else measured and combined the dry ingredients for you? It’s the same thing with frozen pie crusts. I’ve made my own, I can make my own, but I have nothing to prove to anyone. Thanks to frozen crusts, I make pie-like objects more frequently because making crusts is a pain in the patoot!
I’ve made a couple of scratch cakes, and frankly, I think starting with a box mix is better. Of course, I don’t follow their boring directions. I add pudding and other good stuff to make a mega-yum cake.
Oh yeah - DONE!! I spent about 3 hours in the front yard. I raked up the soggy leaves and picked up all sticks bigger than 1/2" around. Tomorrow, I’ll get out there on the riding mower and chop up the remaining little sticks and cut the grass and weeds that have already started to grow. Meanwhile, I’s tahred!!!
My wedding outfit has been delivered. I haven’t opened it yet, but I will. If I hate it, I have plenty of time to find something else.
Neighbors have an inflated bouncy castle in their yard - I’m guessing it’s the kid’s b-day. We’ll keep Higgs in because she’s a noisy pain in the butt when anyone’s in the yard next door. Because we’re nice, dammit!
Embarrassing admission: I’ve made devil’s food cake from a mix, and from scratch, and I like the mix stuff better.:o
For me, the best cake is one someone else has baked.
Y’all are making me exhausted. Does no one sleep in? I looked at those time stamps!
So, let’s see, this morning I have, found the iPad for SunnySon, who put it on the piano and couldn’t see it (black cover on black piano). Made coffee. Convinced the cat that I am a safe and warm place to spend time. Ok, that happens when I sit down with the coffee.
10 more minutes then it’s off to work, where I hope to actually get work done. I don’t usually work on Saturday’s but I’m falling behind, what with having a “team” who hasn’t started yet. I’m doing their work until they do.
I wonder if I can take my dog on the weekend? 
hmm I shall consider.
Sunny, I kinda sorta slept in - I didn’t get up till after 6, which is sleeping in for me.
I just had some leftover pizza for a late lunch. I need a shower, but that would require me to walk alllllllllllllllllllll the way back to the bathroom. I’s still tahred!!
I did sleep in late. Was up late last night at a karaoke event. A friend of mine brought down the house with his rendition of “Blue Suede Shoes.”
Going out to a formal dinner with my theatre group tonight.
Enough of this egg shit.
This morning was trail clean-up day. I was walking thru the swale with a trash bag along side the bike/running trail when a vine or twig grabbed my foot. The good news is I didn’t hit the ground. No, I stopped when my forehead hit the tree trunk. 
I’ve made cake from scratch before. Get out the flour, but my finger to the side of my head, scratch & say, “Now what do I do?”

I’m bored, irk is slow today.

I just took a shower. I’m still achy, but I don’t feel grungy, so there’s that. I also had some tylenol because the aches are sure to increase.
We closed some of the windows - it’s only 64° outside and the breeze was giving us a wind chill. Here’s hoping it warms a bit more as the afternoon progresses.
Chikin sallit makeage has been accomplished. All I’ll need to do tomorrow is make the spinach sallit. Go Me!
Tonight’s supper is hamburger helper because I don’t feel like really cooking. I did add onions and peas to the pot for extra numminess. Wish I’d had mushrooms. Oh well.
The house is closed up because it didn’t get all that warm. 64° ain’t exactly 70°. But it’s sunny, so there’s that.
I tried on my wedding duds - I think they’ll do nicely. I need shoes and some kind of jewelry - I think I’ve got something in my jewelry box that’ll work to gussy it up. So that’s one less thing to deal with. yay.
If I do that, I’m lying down at the top of the hill…& rolling. 
Pizza for dindin. I ordered and OYKW picked it up and paid. Easy way to cook.
