What color are they?
Iffn they’re not blue, I wanna step on them (♪ uh-uh ♪).
I bought some discounted chocolate today. And am in the middle of a 2-day chocolate bender.
Got a discounted winter coat for next year too.
Between the maintenance guys, the landscape guys, and random folks walking by, it’s been a loud, overstimulated day for the dog.
You, go, Midget!
I’ve recycled 260# of aluminum scrap to the tune of $117! WOOHOO!!
Now, I’m going out to transplant some daylilies, since it’s going to be rainy the rest of the week.
Sitting in the press room at the Washington Nationals park in DC. Left home @ 5:30am to meet a coworker at the station then down to the ballpark.
If the game ends on time I might do a 7pm live shot. Otherwise I am here to wait 10 hours then clean up.
Not complaining about the work per se, but I am bored shitlless.
Mooom, I had one cat that the only way to crate her was to put her in a pillowslip and pour her in. I usually didn’t bother. She rode in the car very well without being caged, so I just made sure that her leash loop was D-ringed to the oh-shit bar.
I got the time for the potluck and egg hunt wrong on my calendar and got there three hours late. I did get to connect with some of my friends, so it wasn’t a total wash. Now, what the heck do I do with 24 filled eggs?
People are actually walking around outside without jackets or sweaters. Perhaps I shall venture out as well.
Then again, who am I kidding?
I finished Six Frigates, a book about the first major ships built for the US Navy, and the War of 1812.
I was surprised to learn that the Federalists and Republicans hated each other as much as the Democrats and Republicans hated each other today, and that the early 19th century US Navy officers were a vain and spiteful bunch, fighting duels and sulking from command when not given what they wanted.
Had an MRI done at the horse pickle yesterday. Yes, not only on a Sunday, but on Easter. Had the place to myself, practically, which made the need for a wristband even more amusing. The MRI tech was waiting for me at check-in, led me back through the maze to the MRI suite, navigated me back out when we were done, and brought out the CD bearing images of a crabby knee. I didn’t talk to or see anyone else, but I could hear noises from the ER. Were they worried I was going to get lost or wander off to an OR and take a nap on a gurney, only to become the 3:30 appendectomy?
If they’re filled with chocolate, or cash, or rare gems, you can send them to me!
Just finished playing in the dirt. I moved about 8 daylilies of assorted sized, transplanted 2 gigantic hunks of liriope that has some lilies withing, moved a little clump of mondo grass, and I’ve got the sprinkler on the lilies - just to get them set in. Tomorrow and the rest of the week, they’ll get plenty of rain.
I may go out again to rake a bit, but for now, I need a break. I’s sweaty!!
**gotti **- my sweetie got his MRI on a Sunday also. It was easy-peasy, and no one else came into radiology till he was almost done. It was great that he didn’t have to miss work, plus they gave him the CD of the images, so he came home and studied his knee. Lucky for him, he didn’t know what he was looking at, because his diagnosis was far worse than the doctor’s.

Mostly original, though I did get a few caramel. I like both, but crave the original more than the caramel.
(Ok, you can have one.)
** Grrlbrarian**, the trigger point injections hurt a LOT today because with the headache all of my muscles are tight. The doc did use both a local anesthetic and Toradol in the shoulders. Bonus: the Toradol helps the headache, which is gone. Downside, I want a nap but have to be in a meeting in about half an hour.
No, it’s “my Preciousssssssss”
Will you share?
You want a headache?:dubious: Try a rubber mallet to the forehead.
I was misquoted; that was supposed to be ::eyes (baseball) bat::
#selfdefense

Just heard a report of 8 dead including 7 juveniles in a town near my parents. CO poisoning.
Might have to head there soon.
Long day getting longer.
Ouch! Sorry to heard that, 2gig.
No Easter chocolate for me. Still trying to get the blood glucose levels back in line.
We had a little rain, yesterday, in the afternoon. Supposed to have a little more tomorrow. Clear today and supposed to be in the sixties. Good weather for my energy bill.

As Pharisee, there’s nothing wrong with a good Easter pun. . . . , I like making Passover puns. Matzo wrong with that?
I think those are prize-worthy. Good job.

DIY radiology is a dangerous thing. I have an idea of what’s wrong with mine, but will wait for more trained eyes.
Home from irk. Was a Moanday for sure. I turned in my budget. We shall see if the PTB. Will be happy.
There is only one beer in the house. That is unheard of. Hubby is off to fetch more. I never drink a drop on the weekends but always as much as possible on Monday’s. Wonder why?
