Everything went well at the eye doctor. I didn’t even have to have an injection! 
I hit the Asian market for supper makings before my appointment (lemon ginger poke with asparagus and oyster mushrooms and half a Korean melon for dessert). Traffic wasn’t too bad on the way home. I got in between lunch rush and the afternoon wave.

I gave up on the taxes for now.
I have to be doing something wrong if I owe almost twice what I owed last year, or as my friend said, maybe I screwed up last year and owe them even more.
I’m hungry, no dinner yet as I was too busy.
I’ll eat something after irk is done.
Damn. And here I thought my car inspection was the only important thing I missed today. :smack:
My refund is a little higher than I usually like. I just hate giving Uncle Sugar an interest-free loan if I can avoid it. Not as much as I hate writing a check though.
Actually I like them. The various discounts I used saved me about $250 last year. That and the AMA seem the best refund/discount clubs for me.
May I ask what discounts?

I consider it a major accomplishment that I dragged my carcass out of bed this morning. I had no idea I was so tired, but I guess waking twice during the night will do that to a body.
We’ve got us a chilly, dreary day here, so no yard work. I do have to run to Food Lion and the credit union, but I don’t plan to venture out beyond that. I’ll run a load of whites thru the laundry, too, and there’s a mess of flung kitteh litter that needs to be swept up - stoopit cats! Mostly, tho, not a lot going on.
At least I don’t have to fret over a lunch decision - I have leftover sketties! 
I like leftover sketties. Yay!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! YAWN Up and caffeinatin’. 'Tis 68 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 89 for the day. This is a little unseasonably warm for this time of year. I don’t like that Ive had to turn the a/c on before May but a bear’s gotta be comfy, right?
Ok, that’s all I got. Outside of irk, not much goin’ on. I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy demands to be fed. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence.

It’s rainy and miserable outside.
It’s chilly inside as well.
I scrapped my taxes last night and started over.
I don’t get it, if nothing changed much between last year and this year why do I owe almost double what I paid last year? If anything I have more deductions this year.
So that is on the agenda for today, finish this up and do a line by line comparison with last years taxes.
I have some ground beef thawing in the fridge that I have to do something with today. Either spaghetti or chili.
And some folks I dislike morning, noon, and night.
