A Friend Lost - Khadaji

How awful. I’m so damned sorry. :frowning:

Aww, man…I’m so sorry. :frowning:

Another Doper lost too young. :frowning:

One of the most recognizable names on the SDMB. Terrible loss.

I am going to miss him. He always had kind words to say.

Another good one gone.

Oh no. What horrible, horrible news. :frowning:

Sad, sad news. Go in peace, man.

I always liked him :frowning:

That is terrible news. But thank you so much for coming here to tell us.

We will all miss him.

i’m so sorry to hear this.

may his memory be eternal.

Thank you for taking the trouble to come here and let us know - you’re a good friend!

He was always so nice and friendly in his posts - I can only imagine what a good friend he was in person. Please pass my condolences on to his mother as well - it’s horrid to lose a family member, and to something like this - just terrible. :frowning:

What a shock. His father died shortly after mine did and after a short exchange over the subject- mutual sympathies- I always noticed his name in various threads. As most have said, he always had a kind word and support to offer and seemed a genuinely good soul. I will really miss seeing his words. I can imagine you will miss him in “real life” that much more. Please tell his mom she raised a good son.

He was a poster whose response and input I always looked forward to reading. He will be missed.

Terrible news. The world has lost one of its brightest lights. Fare thee well, Khadaji.

I wanted to share two additional pieces of information.

First, I was able to visit with his mother and sister today. I told them about this message board and the overwhelming response. They visited the site and were genuinely touched by your support.

Thank you all. I know Ron would be so appreciative of your kindness.

Second, some of you asked about Ron’s dog. Unfortunately, KC had diabetes and had gone without medicine or food. When she was found, she was lethargic. The police K9 manager took KC to the vet for treatment, but she died in transit. Ron and KC were inseparable, perhaps this was just mean to be. Still, just a little more sadness.

Thank you again for the support. It means so much to Ron’s family, his friends, and to me personally.

I’m so sorry…I’ve lurked here forever and do not remember one bad thing about the man…genuinely sad.

That’s sad, but you’re right that maybe it’s for the best that they were with each other to the end. :frowning:
The one thing I most remember about Khadaji is that he usually showed up to give people well wishes or sympathies when someone posted about having a misfortune/tragedy. The other thing that stands out for me is that he loved his dog. I remember seeing many posts from him here about her.
In fact, I believe that a few months ago he posted that he was in the queue for a custom plush dog from this website. If he didn’t get it yet, and if anyone he knew would want something like that to remember him and KC by, you might want to contact the website to let them know when they get to his order.

I am so sorry to hear this. 51 is far too young. He was always kind and supportive. He will be missed. :frowning:

:frowning: Well this sucks, he was one of the good ones. My thoughts go out to his friends and family.

He was a good person, my condolences.
