A Game: MY FAVORITE EPISODE OF __ WAS THE ONE WHERE __

Was that the one where they yelled at each other a lot?

My favorite episode of Cheers was the one where everybody shouts “Norm!”.

How about the Startrek Next Generation where Wesley did something wrong and upset the time-space continuum? I loved that one.

You guys may not know this because it was our local news show.

But one time the announcer showed a small clip of an interesting scene and then instead of actually just explaining the news item made some remark about how they would cover this item later in the newscast.

It drove me nuts with anticipation.

And then Dwayne and Rerun come in and Dwayne says “Hey-hey-hey!”

I saw a newscast once where they had something really important you should know if you before making a major decision about something, but they didn’t show it until later in the newscast.

Is that the one where Michael’s mom smokes a cigarette or the one where Sam wears a Hawaiian shirt?

My fav episode of WKRP is the one where Herb leers at Jennifer while Mr. Carlson is clueless about the goings-on at the station.

Edit: Oh yeah, and Les talks about his Golden Sow award.

My favorite episode of White Collar is the one where Neal comes up with a plan for a con to catch the bad guys, but Peter disapproves. However circumstances make it necessary to go with Neal’s plan and Peter takes off Neal’s ankle bracelet so that they can complete it.

Wait a minute! I saw that one! You mean the one where she showed the pics of her kids, right!
Best wishes,

I can’t be of any help in this thread, but, can anybody remember the Gomer Pyle USMC episode where Gomer tries to be helpful, but everything turns to crap, and he spends the entire episode trying to fix it? I think it’s the one where Sgt. Carter acts so frustrated and angry at Gomer… It was my favorite.

Best wishes,

IIRC it was the one where Vietnam era Marines who were amazingly puritanical with lots of privates in their 30s.

I can’t remember the details, but my favourite episode of **Law & Order **is the one where the witnesses keep working while the cops ask them about some grisly murder. I know I would do the same because I’m just so busy and the police questioning me wouldn’t phase me one bit.

We must live in the same town because I think I saw that one. I remember they were asking “Is something dangerous for you?” and then at the end of the broadcast they finally answered “No, it’s not.”

I’ve been watching The House of Cards Trilogy for the first time recently and while the show as a whole is splendid, my favorite episode by far is the one in which Urquhart manipulates and conspires against his colleagues to gain more power. Oh, and occasionally, he breaks the fourth wall and adresses the viewer, thus implicating us in his evil schemes. I thought that episode was pretty neat.

My favorite episode of that law enforcement show is the one where they do all those complex database searches instantly and all the suspects speak freely without requesting a lawyer right away.

My favorite episode of According to Jim* was the one where Jim wants to do something but knows his wife won’t approve so he makes up some elaborate lie. The wife finds out and comes up with an alternate scheme to get back at him. Andy tries to cover for Jim and eats a lot and Dana says bitchy stuff to Jim. In the end the whole thing is revealed and miraculously the hot chick (whose name escapes me) stays married to the schlub.

*that was extremely painful to say. I’ve only seen it in reruns and quickly realized every episode was the same.

Did anyone see the Hogan’s Heroes episode where Colonel Klink gets completely fooled by the POWs he’s guarding, they find a way to enter and leave the camp completely undetected, and Hogan’s gang is able to make some really important contribution to the Allied war effort? The classic line in that episode had to do with Klink not wanting to be sent to the Eastern Front, I think.

Oh, oh! Does anyone remember the Mannix episode where Joe gets knocked unconscious with a blow to the head?

And that reminds me of my favorite Buffy, where Giles gets knocked unconscious. Wasn’t that something?

That reminds me of that episode of Smallville where Chloe, or was it Lois?, gets knocked unconscious just as she’s about to learn Clark’s secret.

House, where he teaches a class and uses himself as one of the three mystery diagnoses.
CSI, the little girl child prodigy gets away with murder and gets under Sidle’s skin.
Venture Bros, rummage sale.
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Gang gets kidnapped…or the Eagles tryouts…too close to call.

Yeah Yeah Bricker! Wasn’t that the one where Shultz kept saying " I know Nothing"?

Anybody remember that show where Timmy fell in a well and told Lassie to go get help? She ran all the way home and barked and barked. The mom ran out of the house with an apron on while grampa was fixin a wagon wheel? Mom said Timmy’s in trouble and lassie went and got a rope? The mom told Grandpa that Timmy had fallen down a well? And Lassie showed them where he was? Remember? Surely you do!

Or that time Charley came downstairs drunk in pajama bottoms and teased Alan for not having a nubile young nymphomaniac in his bedroom? AAAARG you shoulda seen that one!?

My favorite episode of Gunsmoke was the one where some bad nasty came to town and Marshall Dillon had to lay down the law, old west style. Oh, and there was soo much sexual tension between him and Miss Kitty, I can’t imagine them keeping up that level of tension very long. Surely they’ll hook up in the next one.

Enjoy,
Steven
