I have no idea if this guy is a Doper or not, but he should be:
That’s one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a long time! I’m sending the link to all my hort-y friends.
There’s going to be a rational explanation of those.
My guess is fluoridation. On those cities mentioned, that have published statistics, all are showing either current or former fluoridation programs.
Which would lead one to conclude either the trees or the homeowners are affected.
What a great site! I now have something to wist over (what? “wist” should be a verb, dammit - it’s derived from wistful, of course!) before I go shovel all the snow off my car for the third time today. le sigh.
I sent the link off to my landscaper brother, trappped in his snow-surrounded home while he recovers from hip replacement (and I’m such a good sister I spent my day off snow-blowing his driveway so his wife can get in the drive after work…though the way the snow is coming down she won’t be able to notice I was there if she doesn’t get home quick!)
Hee hee! Thanks twickster: I’m off to help spread the glee to some Botany pals.
I am proud to say I have a Polyvinalian tree circle in my front yard.
The whole site is pretty damned good.
