Not Perky -
The rate at which Blacks commit murder is thirteen times that of Whites; Rape and
assault, ten times. These figures, as given by the F.B.I. reports, vary somewhat from year to year but fairly represent the trend for the past decade.

According to the justice Dept, 1 in every 4 Black males between the ages of 20 and 29
is currently in prison or on probation or parole.

Though only 12% of the U.S. population, Blacks commit more than half of all rapes and
robberies and 60% of all murders in the U.S.

Approximately 50% of all Black males will be arrested and charged with a serious felony during their lifetime.

A Black person is 56 TIMES more likely to attack a White person than Vice Versa.

Black rapists choose White victims over half (54.9%) of the time, 30X as often as
Whites choose Blacks.

The annual report from the Department of justice shows that when Whites commit
violence they do it to Blacks 2.4% of the time. Blacks, on the other hand, choose White victims MORE THAN HALF the time.

In New York City, any White is over 300 TIMES MORE LIKELY to be assaulted by a gang of Blacks than is a Black by a gang of Whites.

Many people argue that high Black incarceration rates show that police center
enforcement at Black crimes and ignore white-collar crimes. However, Blacks commit a
disproportionate number of white-collar offenses as well. In 1990, Blacks were nearly 3 times as likely to be arrested for forgery, counterfeiting, and embezzlement as Whites.

Many people believe that crime is a product of poverty and lack of “advantages.”
However, the District of Columbia, which enjoys the highest average annual salaries and is second only to Alaska in personal income per capita, leads the nation in just about every category of crime including murder, robbery, aggravated assault, and vehicle theft. D.C. also has the country’s strictest gun control, highest police costs per capita, highest ration of police and correctional officers per citizen, and highest rate of incarceration. Its permanent population is over 80% Black. West Virginia, which has the nation’s lowest crime rate, suffers from chronic poverty and has the highest unemployment in the U.S. It also has the fewest police per capita. West Virginia is over 96% White.

No, Eddie, why don’t you just come out and say what your conclusion is. Look you’re either trying to make a point or you’re not.

If you’re trying to make a point, stop insinuating. Let’s hear it. Make a hypothesis based on your data. Make a conclusion that are willing to stand behind. Show some cajones.

I grew up in NYC. Was mugged 8 or so times never by a white guy. I used to think kinda like Cap Ed. Have lived in a white state for 14 years. Most of the violent/street level crime is committed by whites. Just got mugged by a white teen. My low life white neighbor broke his alkie, white girlfriend’s jaw this summer. I used to think better of white folk untill i had to live amongst them. Cap Ed is trying to rationalise the fact that his son is a poor pilot and that people, regardless of race, are evil scum. No good blaming the black man Ed…This is who we are.

Regarding Colin Ferguson:

I remember that, too. It happened on the Long Island Railroad near Mineola, NY. Two facts from that case, IIRC:

  1. Mr. Ferguson decided to represent himself at his trial
  2. A widow of one of those killed on the train was ran for Congress, was elected and recently retired.

Still its one piece of anecdotal evidence. I’m still waiting for the punchline, which Ed seems to be hesitant to give. The only thing worse than a racist is a cowardly racist.

No, it’s second to Connecticut for personal income per capita. Alaska is 21st for personal income. It’s also nowhere close to 80% black. It’s below 63% and the percentage has been dropping for about 30 years. It looks to me from what I’ve been able to find in reference books that these statistics may have been true in about 1980. Are all of your statistics this old?

If Ed’s point is that blacks are inherently more violent/crime prone than whites then he is wrong, dead wrong.

If, however, his point is that a high percentage of black on white crime is racially motivated, and that this type of race crime is underreported, then I agree. I used to live in a predominately black neighborhood, and couldn’t walk past a park without hearing taunts of “white bitch, white bitch, I’m gonna kick your ass!” I was once assaulted and beaten by a group of black kids while riding my bike down the street minding my own business, and I was once sexually assaulted by a black man while walking home from work. I do not believe these crimes would have been committed against me if I had been black.

All of this occurred in South Bend, IN., well north of the Mason Dixon line, where we didn’t have the institutionalized racism that existed in the South. I find it interesting that Northern blacks who have suffered far less from overt racism than their Southern counterparts have a hatred of whites that seems totally unjustified and unprovoked. The blacks I have met who are from the South, who one would think would have good reason to be angry with whites, seem much more laid back. They don’t seem to have the hatred. They don’t blame whites for the crimes of slavery and institutionalized prejudice that were committed by our long-dead ancestors. They accept us on an individual basis as human beings, rather than as members of the hated oppressor race.

I think we could all learn a lot from them.

OK, I’m still here. Rick Munoz, aka “Bricker” hereabouts called me last night and we had a long talk. Rick decided not to challenge my credentials after I suggested mailing me a SASE. We resolved the ever-so-important BZ thing amicably. Rick made a friendly suggestion - that I quote the source of my info. I told him that I was once thrown off a discussion group for doing just that. The moderator banned me for committing plagurism. Until I here from a moderator in this group that in fact I can site the source of my information, I will continue to let them remain annonymous.

You have a right to your opinions and if people don’t like it they don’t have to read it. Let them post a response, if they want to and that should do it.
