Why do you say that? As you can see one of the biggest concerns of women is safety. Giving your number rather than asking for theirs seems to me to be a pretty significant way to reduce the safety factor, if nothing else.
You don’t know how many states or cities or even counties he lived in so there is no way you can do a compete back ground check on him ! How do you even know if he gave you to his real name . I can’t believe what I am reading ,if this was my daughter I would call her crazy for even thinking of following up on this guy !

Just an FYI, you don’t need an SSN or permission to run a background check on someone. Anyone can run one with just a name and easily found information plus about $20 through one of several online services. I have never run one for myself but I have run them for friends and family members that were looking at potential tenants for rental properties.
The services are legit and will tell you a whole lot about a person including criminal history, marriage history, all known addresses, aliases, civil suits and much more. You don’t even need to pay to find out basic information like known relatives and past places of residence. The person will never know that you even ran a check on them. What is even scarier is that some sites sell an unlimited daily pass that lets you run a full background check on as many people you want for 24 hours and it doesn’t even cost that much.
That’s right, a bored stalker with OCD can just sit at home and print out detailed background checks on all their coworkers, relatives, Facebook friends and neighbors for the price of a decent restaurant meal. Welcome to the post-privacy age.
