At my last job we were often visited by one of our outside sales reps whose last name was Ramsbottom. He was a character, too – he usually introduced himself with the missive, “…but my friends call me Sheep’s Ass.” You couldn’t help but warm up to the guy after that. In my early grade school years, one of my classmates had the unfortunate last name of Smellie. He was teased about as much as you’d expect.
