The robot with the video projection face, who says, “75 years ago I was Time magazine’s mecha of the year”. IMDB lists him as ‘Bobby Harwell … TV Face’. But isn’t that R. Lee Emery? The guy who played the drill sargent in Full Metal Jacket? It sure looks and sounds like him to me. Am I just crazy?
I just checked the closing credits on the DVD, and it lists the same name for “TV Face”…Bobby Harwell.
If it is indeed R. Lee Emery using another name, then he hasn’t aged well since Full Metal Jacket. I really don’t think it’s him, although I will admit that there is a resemblance in their stern demeanors.
