I’m awake but not feeling that much better. Going back to sleep. I will see the doc on Wednesday - I am going to ask him to check me for anemia and mono. and if neither one of those are the answer, I may have to invest in a carbon monoxide detector
I like them! I think they are sexy, but they wouldn’t look good on me. I’m sure they would look great on you Haze!
pretty - but teetering on the “KMOFM” border. ANd they’ve got to be higher than 3.75" they look more like 4.5 - but then, I wear sneakers all the time so WFT do I know? ![]()
Me: Yup, those are shoes alright!
Wifey: Oooooo… ugly!
Make of that what you will (keeping in mind that wifey is native-born Korean, and her fashion sense is NOT western at all)…
Yes, I like. Or as Vbob put it, “Hawt!”
see what I mean?
oh, and Astroboy? :fwap: for that pun.
Kill Me Or Fuck Me?
ETA: maybe they would look better in black?
Pun? Huh? Did I miss something? I had to edit my post like 3 times… maybe in there somewhere was a pun…
I’m more of a bubbly girl, or vodka tonics with a twist. Bubbly is best though!
What, me encourage you? Never!
I’m off to bed soon too, still not 100% and I’ve got to teach all day tomorrow, frack.
Kewt shoes, but they’re too high. And I think I’d like them in black, better.
I don’t do high heels (nothing above about an inch) these days–between bone spurs and choosing comfort over fashion. Perhaps I am not the best person to bounce this off of…
Back from academic award ceremony, made quicker because most of the people didn’t show due to the weather. yay!
Bath and bed. I’m tired and have the library again tomorrow. This is getting old…
“those are shoe alright”? maybe you didn’t intend it, but it worked.
Haze - “knock me over, fuck me” - black might make the effect moreso - but in silver or gold glitter, they just look like evening wear - go figure. Must be the shininess of the patent leather.
LOL… one of my edits was to add the “s” to shoes… didn’t see the pun.
Hi everyone! I think I’ve finally caught up on the MMP after having dinner and taking care of Valentine exchange housekeeping.
Wow, Bobbio, what a weekend! Here’s another thanks for your dedication.
I visited a friend in Ithaca Thanksgiving a bunch of years ago. Very nice place. There was a blizzard on the way home and I drove about 20 mph a lot of the way. Or that’s what it felt like.
Hey Nava, I got spam from SAP at work today. I’m pretty sure it was real. Not sure why they’d bother sending it to me since I don’t spend big dollars on software and wouldn’t be the one to spend money on anything SAP-like. Oh, and it looks like our project that’s scheduled to go in early next week won’t be going in because several of us refuse to sign off (it’s physically impossible to finish sufficient testing before their planned implementation date).
Glad you’re back at work full time, Shadow; hope today went well. Keep plugging away at the not-hoarding.
Hope all the sickies are feeling better today and those in the frozen north experience more temperate weather soon.
It went from being icky windy cold this morning to being cold, but not horrible at 5:30 today. It’s supposed to snow tomorrow (or maybe tonight; they don’t seem to be able to make up their minds).
I’m sleepy and would like to read a while.
Is it Firday yet?

I just know those kind of shoes as FMPs–fuck me pumps.
Me no like Diana Gabaldon–I liked the first book, but the others–just couldn’t get into them. I felt bad for her husband (of all things, me!), but I liked the mystical aspects and that kind of stuff.
I’ve heard of them as CFM shoes (Come Fuck Me).
Well, I don’t have a pair of CFM shoes at all, so maybe I’ll get these. I kinda want the red ones because I’ve never had a pair of red shoes before, but I think I like the black ones better. Hm. I’ll have to wait till payday anyway, so I shall reflect upon this.
I love the shoes, Haze!! They’re too high for me, as I’m a complete klutz and would fall on my ass. I’d go for black though, not that I don’t like the red–I definitely do-- but at that price I’d want something more versatile than red tends to be.
Well, I ended up getting drafted to work on part of a press briefing about this case. See, I actually work on stuff that actually matters once in a while.
Fortunately, it was short and sweet, and I split it with someone else, so that was a quick afternoon’s pay in half an hour. ![]()
We saw the story about the Seoul gate burning on the BBC America news tonight, Haze. Papa Tigs, having spent some time in Seoul, remembers the gates and was very sad about it, too. It looked like it was really beautiful. They said it would be rebuilt, but will it really be the same? ![]()
Those are some serious CFM (Come Fuck Me!) shoes, though! Definitely hawt! Not that I could have worn them even in the days when I did wear heels, but they are still hawt.
Think that’s bad? Guess who Papa Tigs met in person?  He meets all the nice ones – Shrub, Cheney, now Huck. Oy. I made vampire-warding signs when he told me. ![]()
It’s cold here, too, well below freezing, but when I ran to drop off a FedEx at the local Kinko’s (since I’d missed all the drop box pickups), there was a woman wandering around in bedroom slippers, capris, and a t-shirt. And she didn’t even look cold. Some people are weird.
Is it bedtime yet? <checks clock> Hey, practically – great, time to go curl up with the cat and a book!
Forgot to say: cute shoes, Hank. I’d never wear them (I would fall off, for one thing.), but I adhere strictly to the theory that pretty much anything looks cute on you.
Oh, and I really like Jennifer Crusie, too. Haven’t read Gabaldon yet.
Off to sleepy bye.

That’s how I know them too, which I do NOT consider a bad thing for a shoe to be.

Ok, off to the bedtime beerverage, then bed. It’s snowing which means it’s going to be a 3:30 am wake up to check the weather.
