Last night, during a dinner out purportedly to celebrate my birthday and my wife’s sister’s birthday, the SIL’s same sex lover of over a decade asked her to marry her.
It was a glorious evening, and we are all so thrilled. Some of you may recall that they had just moved back to Canada from Texas. Still to be resolved is whether a rabbi or an Anglican minister will perform the ceremony.
