A Monday without an MMP is like . . .

. . . a spring roll without the rice paper.

First?

Second?

Third? :stuck_out_tongue:

Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’ on a soemwhat coolish for south Jawja this time of year mornin’. It’s only 62 degrees Amurrkin outside!

Today I shall mow da yahd. It needs it bad. Woo and Hoo.

Ok, more caffiene needed.

Later Y’all!

A Monday without an MMP is like . . .
a deity without sunshine.

Mornin’ all.

What is NCIS, please?

I’m fourth, and trying hard to awaken and face the day. Doc added Xanax to my growing number of pharmaceuticals* and it makes me sleepy. It helps a great deal, though. I thought I really did need it today, given that I’m meeting TPTB. I don’t take it every day.

I am suitably attired in navy slacks, black “Mary Janes”, and a Chinese inspired tunic top which is patterned in blues, greens and tans. I had other options, but I feel most comfortable in this, but it also looks good on me. I have done a careful makeup (bound to wear off by 11 am, so let’s all hope this is a morning thing). Hair is clean, and flatironed. I am reasonably hygienic.

Now that I have bored you all completely, I will say I feel much better. Thanks for scrolling right on past…
If you did scroll on past, you’ll miss this tidbit: have a great Monday, all!
*because I have started to have mild anxiety attacks. There’s so much you all don’t know about me! IMO, the “attacks” are because of our precarious financial situation, among Other Things.

A monday without an MMP is like…

a fried egg without salt.

Never understood that Spanish sentence about “… like a kiss without a moustache.” I imagine it must be from a time when moustaches were the height of male fashion, say sometime during the XIX century.

The only NCIS I know about is a TV series, something like “Navy Scientific Cops.” Like all those series, it’s got people who apparently can do anything in an investigation except sentence the perp. It also has a goth but not emo labtech who wouldn’t have been allowed within a mile of any lab I worked in with all that lipstick.

A Monday without an MMP is like…

a cat without a purr.

Good morning! But just so y’all don’t forget - Mondays suck. Blrf.

Ok, let me try: NCIS = Naval Criminal Investigative Service. I think.

And Rigs, sending good thoughts to you today.

Up, caffeinated, at work even … and got a ride here to boot! Call me sliced turkey cause I’m on a roll! I’ve got stuff to keep me busy today, then tomorrow it’s off to the podiatrist.

It’s not Friday yet, is it?!

And because I almost forgot : A Monday without an MMP is like a dog without a lick! (Esp. Bubba Schnoodle, right CutiePie?) LOL

A Monday without an MMP is like…

VBob without a blurf.

Good afternoon, having a pause in the hectic schedule for lunch now - back at work after my fantastic hollibobs now, so busy catching up with everything that’s gone on here in my absence. Nothing major really, just a pile of emails that I have been copied into so I need to make sure I get everything straight before I start amending paperwork.

Nice quiet weekend at home, got the fuzzbutts back out of the moggery, did laundry and ironing, went grocery shopping and caught up on rubbish telly.

The heating man is coming today to start fitting our shiny new central heating system so that’s good news, but I am concerned at the amount of stuff we will have to shift out of his way in order to get the work done. I’d have given us an extra week at home to get sorted out but 'im indoors thinks it’s fine. Oh well, it’ll be up to him to move everything then!

Off to munch rabbit food in an attempt to fool Fat Club’s scales into thinking I haven’t spent the last fortnight drinking too much beer and staying in a country that firmly believes one of the major food groups is lard.

A Monday without the MMP…

…is like caffeine-free diet Mountain Dew.
Extree blurfs for BooFae.

NCIS - tarra did get the acronym correctly - is a CBS series starring Mark Harmon, Michael Weatherly, Pauley Perrette, Sean Murray (who I suspect is related to Bill & Brian Doyle - based on his age, he’s likely the son of one the brothers) and an actress whose first name is Côte and whose last name escapes me at the moment. It is produced by the same person who produced Quantum Leap & Magnum, P.I., and is in syndication on a few channels, notably USA Network. And oh yeah - David McCullum (the blond from The Man From U.N.C.L.E. - I’m not even going to try to spell that character’s name) plays the m.e. - because there’s always a death - I suspect one of the characters is related to Jessica McGill Fletcher.

A Monday without an MMP is like…

…Oh, the humanity!! Won’t somebody think about the mumpers???

rigs, Xanax is how I can get on airplanes and fly to Europe without my knuckles bursting through the skin of my hands but it makes me sleepy, too.

I saw District 9 yesterday and, in spite of the excellent CGI, was not particularly impressed.

Back to work.

Tupug

He played Illya Kuryakin. I had a mad crush on him back in the day. :o

A Monday without the MMP is like…
A small decaf non-fat sugar-free latte.

(Yes, I know Vundy kinda sorta beat me to it, but I’m sticking with it… so there.)

Good luck, rigs! I’m sure you’ll knock 'em dead.

Nava, that’s a weirdly backwards sort of expression. A kiss with a mustache is strangely scruffy and itchy… definitely not as pleasant as the alternative. I was most happy when The Boy shaved off his mustache after wearing one for two months.

Puggy, I know a couple of the guys who did VFX for District 9… they’ll be most tickled to know you liked their work (even if you didn’t like much else about the movie). We’re planning on going to see it sometime this weekend, assuming I can drag The Boy away from work for a few hours.

A/C at work is misbehaving again. Maybe I can use this as my excuse to go home and work in comfort?

You were not alone, my dear.

Good morning, mumpers.

Good afternoon all!

A Monday without an MMP is like …
Peaches without cream!

Ahhh, Ramadan … nearly 3 down, 27 to go!

If the side effects of xanax get to be a problem, talk to your doc is klonopin/klonazopan is an option. I carry it for “as needed”. But whatever – do what you and your doctor says is right for you.
And good morning all !

The story line is full of holes, muppet, that’s my main gripe but you will see that for yourself. You WILL, however, forget that the aliens are CGI about halfway through. Warning: Lots of blood and guts.
