I’ll admit I’ve never followed news about him closely because I’m lukewarm on his music, just stuff I’ve happened to hear about. So yeah, it’s possible that there have been developments I’ve missed.
He just admitted that he has a child out of wedlock. Meh, not a capital crime and doesn’t make him a monster, notwithstanding how such things are still judged in prudish America. I still think he’s a great guy.
Well, that might fit the “sex scandal” part of the question, with the severity depending on circumstances and how he deals with it, I guess.
But isn’t it a requirement to at least once have a sex scandal for a rock star? 
And none of us knows what’s going on in that marriage. As long as the sex was consensual, and there’s never been any hint that it wasn’t, it’s none of our business.
Child out of wedlock wasn’t quite the sex scandal I was imagining. Hell, I have children out of wedlock and I don’t have any hit songs.
