Oh, heavens no! This IS the MMP after all. We’re the cool kids. No reading required.
But I did need to defend the honor of bug bagging and sniffing. After all, there might be others like me out there. OK. . . maybe not.
I’ll take your word for it.
FCM, I didn’t take your chocolate. I’m allergic to chocolate. But I know who did.
Lili, wow, there’s a lot of hate there.
You betcha!
Of course you are! Now come on, let’s go steal Mom’s chocolate. You distract her, and I’ll get it from the mailbox.
Um. Mom? pulls on gt’s hair
There…diversion! Go, go go!
All right! Got them! RUN!
I’m telling!
(unless you bribe me with something good)
Ow!
It is too hot to cook but I am anyways. Urgh.
FCM, I saved some chocolate for you. I’m a very cautious newb
I sat a whole practice test this morning and my brain hurts. I scored well though, so I’m having a beerverage. I’ll share, too!
Almost Friday, almost. Woo hoo!
I had a wild animal sighting this morning. As I was waiting for the bus, a red fox trotted across the street. It was the size of a small dog and in fact I thought it was a dog except for it’s big, fluffy red tail!! The bus was coming to the stop, and the folks in the front seats had also seen Mr. Fox. There are woods within a block of the bus stop, so occasionally there are wild animals who surface in the residential areas. The whole time (laughs all 5 seconds!), I couldn’t help but think, “okay, foxy-loxy, you just stay up the street there and don’t come down here near me, please!” as there have been several incidents with rabid foxes in the past couple of years.
back from rehearsal - stood and sang again - sang so well, in fact, director had to move me up onto the risers because I was too strong for the front row!
but I’ll be paying for it tomorrow - good thing I have [del]the torture chamber[/del] physical therapy after work
brown-noser.
I can’t help it if I’m the good kid.
Yes, you can. (suck up)
I may be rid of er, I mean without The Husband for a few days come August. And I may be without #2 son as well. Older kids are going to boundary waters for canoe trip with church youth. So The Husband is thinking of going to Canada to look at our property, and taking #2 son with him.
I’ll have the house to myself for at least 4 days.
<Snoopy dance>
Party on my porch!
HA! See? Suck-up.
Riggity-Diggity, can I come over the the big party? I bet you’ll have a couple of sangrias and pass out by 7:30 the first night.
Me no like sangria and I can drink you all under the table…so long as it’s a coffee table.
I…I don’t drink, so I’d prolly be a very cheap date.
If we’re drinking Pepsi, though…you’re in some trouble.
silently hands over all the coconut-filled pieces
all this chocolate being passed around - and none coming my way (white or dark only please)
eta: that sounds awkward (grammatically) and rude. but I’m tired and sleepy and the pills are kicking in, so nyah
HP Humor List, part 2 - Mika - don’t look!
Good Mornin’ Y’all! I can say that cause it’s after midnight here. So There!
Welcome home [del]ya old broad[/del] Moooooom!
gotti in certain areas I have to wear a beard net. No hair net though cause I gots me a bump cap to wear on the floor. There are beard met dispensers in those areas too. How thoughtful of 'em.
I had another fairly easy shift. YAY! I am in the process of learning the intricacies of a “change over”, that being when there’s a change from one type of beer to another for a run. I get to learn start to finish but not in that order, if that makes sense. Tonight I learned how to do a change over at the pasteurizer. The next changeover will involve me learning what happens at packing with changing from one type of carton to another. Then I’ll learn about changing over the cans, the filler and other stuff. Plus I get to learn how to calibrate each piece of equipment and record all kinds of info for the end/start of a run. I can tell you all are just green with envy that I get to learn me some new beer skilz!
Oh and I spent a good portion of today (well yesterday, now) dealing with malt liquor once again. ICK! I also learned a couple new shortcuts for walkin’ through the plant. I’m feelin’ so ejookatid!
Ok, gonna go surf around a bit then off to beddy bye time.
Later Y’all!
