A Murderously Fun MMP

Do tell us if you loved it as much as I did. I already downloaded the soundtrack.
I left the theatre thinking how cool it would have been if the original movie with Divine had been done inthe 70s, and the Broadway production while I was in college - you bet your beanies I’d have been on a bus to Manhattan in a heartbeat. When I was younger, I could really move! (heavy sigh)

So I saw, for the umpteenth time, the Lunesta commercial with the luminescent green butterfly hovering over the woman’s head and for the first time thought ‘that’s one freaky nightmare she’s having. I want some of her drugs’

I have neither purse, nor bacon salt, but I do have a case og* Yuengling in the fridge. I was short handed all day, and it was busy. I didn’t get the store quite clean, but I guess I’ll claim I was sick of work.

LiLi, sorry about the passport. Couldn’t you sneak in, and get deported whrn you’re done?

*Typo, I left it in. Maybe it will be the next great meme on the Dope.

Didn’t do too much today. Went to church this morning, attempted to watch a movie with the husband and then played around in my crafting area. I finished altering a 3-ring binder, and a recipe card hold, that I’m putting quotes and stuff in. Made homemade pizza for supper, took pics of my projects to share on my blog, and now I’m here.

Hubby’s 360 crapped out on him I think, he couldn’t get the unplayable disc message to go away. So he swapped hardrives with mine, and is now playing online with people. I might see if I can’t kick him off soon to play, lol.

I have been a bad HP fan. I have barely touched the book. :smack:

In other news, hubby noticed a couple odd transactions on our debit card while I was at church, and called and cancelled our cards. So now, no online shopping for me, until the new cards arrive. :frowning: Unless of course they take paypal. Guess that’s one way to cut down on online shopping, lol.

FCM, your vacation pics and post was great.

I’ve been following the *Bacon Salt * thread for a while, and broke down and ordered the 3 pack. Hopefully it is as good as it sounds…

Purses–I LOVE my purses. I’m cheap though, and don’t buy brand names one, and I change them all the time. Can’t have one too long, lol. I acutally picked up a really cute one at Target last night on clearance for $4.98. Can’t go wrong there. I’ve stayed away from the purse thread after reading a few of the posts…

Wow, that was kinda long. LOUNE hope your happy, he told me to go and be a good MMPer and post, lol. Turned out to be longer than I thought. I should go and blog while I’m in the talkative mood, lol. Have a great night all!!

Update: The cat hornked on my bed. Considering the things the critters have done to my bed over the years, it might be more sanitary to sleep in a dumpster.

Last 50 pages at last.

I’ve spent today mostly picking up and putting down HP7.

I took some more cat pictures, they all mostly got equal time. I’ll post when I download.

BBQ chicken hips and wings, with some nice antipasto salad for dinner.

Talking in short sentences.

About ready for bed.

First, beer.

Night.

No, Mr. Lissar refuses to cross the border if there’s a chance they won’t let us back in. This is ridiculous. It takes more than three weeks from today to get a passport, and they need to be renewed (for $100) every four years. Nice cash grab. Makes me feel reeeaaal safe.

Sigh.

Every four years? Wow, U.S. passports are good for ten years. And right now, if you’ve applied for one but haven’t received it in time for your travel (to certain areas only, I think just Canada/Mexico/the Caribbean), as long as you take your paperwork showing proof of your application, they’ll let you back in the country. Not to mention driving across the Canadian and Mexican borders still doesn’t require a passport, just a driver’s license. Is the same true in reverse, LiLi? Because at least for this year, I could come visit you and come home with no problems. (Or no new ones, anyway. )

I’ve been trying to work this evening, and am bored outta my ever-loving mind. I’ve been too busy thinking of neat things to knit. I’ve recently gotten some recycled silk yarn, and I’m thinking of doing a knitted bag trimmed with beautiful embroidered sari border – I’ve got a bin full of saris in the attic that I got to sell on eBay, and got sick of selling before I sold them all. Plus they’re so luscious, I love to go drool over them periodically. I’d probably be willing to cut up one or two of them in a good cause, however. Actually, I could make entire bags out of them very quickly using my lovely Christmas present serger.

I think I know what my problem is. I have to spend too much time working to have enough time to do what I enjoy doing for fun! I need to hit the lottery or something. Independent wealth is really the only way I can see out of my predicament right now.

Off to sleep shortly – see you all in the new MMP!

Anyrose and MMPers…

GO SEE HAIRSPRAY! IT IS FANTASTIC!!

good night.

LOUNE, your very own Pit thread! Cool! You da man!

While I did make it to church today, I didn’t make it to the farmer’s market. What was I doing? Sitting here on The Dope. Not much of anything else done. And the MMP has been really quiet today. Amazing when I think about it. I’m trying not to, though.

Hmm, it’s coming back to me. I was reading the purse thread and despite the fact that I haven’t gotten a new purse in over 8 years and I can’t afford a new one now, I spent my day looking up purses online. :smack:

And now I’m heading off to get ready for bed. Ya’ll have a great night

Finished HP7. Couldn’t not. Really liked it. But now I need to get to bed.

Obligatory low-pronoun sleepy post. Hugs to all.

See you in the new MMP…

GT

Morning.

('Night Roo! :))

Don’t see a new MMP yet, so I’m still here, if terse and un-caffeinated…

Up to around p. 350 in HP 7 – so not quite half-way through yet.

Later, y’all!

Morning all! No comment on Noor’s bowel movements - I don’t wanna jinx her!!!

Need to get my butt up off this chair and do last night’s dishes and wash some baby bottles. Housekeeping - yech!

Alright, everybody out of this pool and into that one here.

You’re so lucky I have insomnia sometimes. Otherwise you’d have to wait until 8 a.m. Eastern time.
