Oh man, I am a chronic re-watcher of movies. Just as an example, I’ve seen Gladiator at least ten times, just because it’s on Cinemax every 20 minutes.

But I recall the first movie where I actively tried to count the number of times I’d seen it. I lost track somewhere around 60 – I imagine it’s upwards of a 100.

The Warriors – when it came out in '79, I saw it in the theater three times. When it came out on the then fledgling HBO, I saw it every single time it was on. Being rated R it was never on during school hours, so that was never a conflict. Unless of course, you count the times I set my clock for 3:00am so I could get up and watch it. So, before my family even got our first VCR, I’d seen it about twenty times.
After that it wasn’t even a challenge. I’d rent it every other weekend, or so. Then I finally recorded it when it appeared on HBO again, so I would watch it at least once a week.

See now it’s easy to see a movie a dozen times. Hell I’ve done that without even realizing it. Back in the day before your fancy-schmancy VCRs and DVDs, why, that was a challenge.

you have to watch all the python movies over and over just to make sure you catch everything…
slapshot is always good for a laugh as are: blues brothers, 3 amigos (so stupid, its funny and the chicks are kinda hot), bob and doug’s strange brew, too many to list now that i think about it…
i love easy rider…

i had to watch wizard of oz about a million times as a kid, cause my little nephew liked to watch it but was scared of the witch and had to have someone watch it with him…
