A new obscure TV Trivia thread

  1. K-13 was “Fang”, CONTROL’s canine agent.

And for some of Bricker 's questions:

B2. The first character to die on LA Law was Norman Chaney, who was found dead at his desk in the beginning of the first episode.
Arnie: “Dibs on his office!”

B4. Not sure of the agency, but Col. Austin’s boss was Oscar Goldman

B9. Sister Bertrille was at the Convent San Tanco

And some more:

W7: Of all the regulars in MAS*H 's opening credits, only three appeared for more than one season as regulars on TV series after the show left the air. Name them and the shows they were on.

Mike Farrell, Providence.

Alan Alda, The West Wing.

David Ogden Stiers, some animated series, perhaps?

Q: Just Shoot Me: What musical instrument did Jack Gallo play?
A. the banjo

Q: Of all the regulars in MAS*H 's opening credits, only three appeared for more than one season as regulars on TV series after the show left the air. Name them and the shows they were on.

A: Well part of my mind wants to answer Col. Potter, Father Mulcahy and Klinger appearing on two seasons of a show called AfterM.A.S.H., but another part of me adamantly insists that the show in question - NEVER HAPPENED!!
Anyway:

Q: M.A.S.H.: Why was one of Radar O’Reilly’s hands always hidden from the camera in every shot he appeared in?

Q: Identify the speaker of this quote & what it pertained to: “The only thing red about her is her hair…and we’re not to sure about that!”

Gary Burghoff has something wrong with (I think) his left hand. I don’t know what the “something” is.

He drove a Pontiac Firebird. Not sure of the year - I’ll say 1974?

The third MASH alumnus is Wayne Rogers. He was a lead in the TV version of “House Calls” with Lynn Redgrave.

IIRC, a couple of his fingers are deformed.

AfterMASH lasted only 1 season (or less). The correct answer is Mike Farrell, Alan Alda and Wayne Rogers.

Here’s a couple:

What world famous photographer was married to (and took the last name of) a recurring cast member of MASH*?

On an episode of Good Times Florida, when asked by a white yuppie liberal couple if she’d seen Roots, Florida stated “Kunta Kinte is making more money than any of us now” and the audience erupted in laughter and some applause. Why was this joke so funny to them at the time? (Fairly easy in-joke.)

Identify the actors who portrayed the following “Batman” villains:

-the Siren
-Lola Lasagna
-the Black Widow
-Chandell

Diane Arbus.

I always wondered who Saint Tanco was.

Thanks for the replies…
18. Some people objected to Dawson kissing the women contestants. According to the poll, the viewers mostly approved of it.

32: I think it was a stopwatch ticking?

  1. Jackie Cooper.

Sorrell Booke (which would make him Archie’s Boss Hogg).

Speaking of…

36 (or whatever): On what show did Archie’s boss, bka as Boss Hogg, play a Jewish crime boss in a recurring role?

  1. Who played his daughter in the series, who is her real life celebrity parent, and what actor who played her father-in-law on the show above later played her father in another show?

I’m pretty sure that the B-52s made a brief appearance on a daytime soap opera, but I just can’t remember which one. Can anybody help me out?

They appeared on “Guiding Light” circa the early 1980s. I recall seeing it on some MTV special, “Your favorite rockers appear on TV” or something like that. The sight of all these perfectly coifed, ultra-preppy soap opera characters ‘gettin’ down’ to Rock Lobster was certainly…amusing…to say the least.
