Not because I’m a Star Wars geek or anything (I’m not), but I found myself thinking a line in a social setting that gave me the giggles. The game is this:
Take any well-known line from the movies, and substitute a single word.
In my case, I was talking to a strikingly flat-chested (but otherwise quite attractive) woman and I kept thinking, in Darth Vader’s voice, “I find…your lack of tits…disturbing.”
Your go.
Well, it’s been done with “pants”. “I find your lack of pants disturbing” isn’t quite as funny as yours, but “tits” is inherently a funnier word than “pants”.
That was pretty good though.
I’ve been thinking if it slipped out while I was trying to suppress giggles, and how I would have explained it away. I don’t think any explanation would have washed.
The power of this battle station is insignificant compared to the power of the monkey.
“Don’t be too proud of this technological anus you’ve constructed.”
“I used to fondle swamp rats in Beggar’s Canyon back home, and they’re not much bigger than two meters.”
“I find your lack of pants disturbing” never, ever, ever fails to make me laugh. That, and “You are unwise to lower your pants!”
“Use the Fart, Luke”
Don’t forget “The boy lacks pants.”
