Why, yes, indeed, Jodi, despite all evidence to the contrary, I insist that people randomly flame out at people in all kinds of threads, without any repercussions at all. And I find this totally acceptable…in fact, desirable. And my motivation for this is that I am a mean old bitch and love to yell at people. Thank goodness I found a board where they will let me get away with it willy-nilly.

The best example I can offer now comes from my own personal experience… I used to play softball (as a matter of fact, it was the heartbeat of my life) and our coach usually even got pissed if we won. Which is another story in and of itself. But anyway, our ‘after game’ talks typically had her deriding us for something/anything. And the absolutely most motherfucking annoying thing ever, was she’d say shit like; “If y’all aren’t going to give this 100 percent. If you don’t want to ever try, why are you here??” and it would hit those of us that gladly labored through 4 hours of practice weekly and played under insane conditions (broken limbs, missed weddings or funerals, etc.) as quite a slap in the face.
Perhaps the first time we could forego what she said as so much anger delivered that she really didn’t no what happened to her aim, but game upon game, week upon week, for freakin’ years just meant that she really didn’t care enough for how much effort was put out when she was pissed. All attempts to get her to realize this (like after an extremely talented player would quit), fell on deaf ears. And truly, it only took a couple of words to rectify the situation and in turn, she didn’t even name anyone individually to acknowledge the contributions of others. However, that didn’t stop her personal attacks either. She just loved generalities on top of everything else. Gosh, me and my hubby looooooooooove me ma.

Behavior like that is chronic, and is why people don’t like Liberal. And you know what? Shit like that goes on ALL OVER the Pit.
