Paul pondered for a while as the reality of the last three weeks finally dawned upon him.
How could he have been so stupid? How could he have missed what was so obvious to everyone else but him?
But it was too late… there was nothing he could do about recent events. They had happened and they had affected him deeply. He was just going to have to get on with life in spite of his new circumsatnces.
After a few minutes, Paul jumped to his feet, picked up the phone and dialled.
