They don’t do a thing to “prevent” homosexual acts, and they clearly demonstrate the contempt and hatred of those who enact and support those laws. How is that “loving the sinner”? And more importantly, where does it stop? If all the Muslims are going to hell because they don’t dig Jesus, why don’t you outlaw the Koran too? And me, I’m an atheist. Gonna make me believe?

There’s possibly others who don’t say anything because no matter what they believe, there is no need for condemnation, especially when one word of condemnation speaks much louder than many of love.
I apologize for the condemnatory tone of my words in a previous thread. I was not thinking of the condemnatory tone those words carried and seek not to repeat them again.
It’s a good thing for all of us to reevaluate what we are saying periodically and how we are saying it. It sounds as if you are trying to speak what you believe to be the truth in love, but it’s being perceived as condemnation.

I just find it incredibly sad that everyday I come to this place I find that people are permitted to keep spewing forth this hateful drivel.

It is not H4H I worry about so much as what I see as tacit approval of the bigotry based on one set of interpretations of the Bible. That is precisely what allowed slavery and apartheid to flourish.
There will always be mindless fundies, when are those in power going to tell them they are not welcome to post hate here? It is no less offensive than racism or sexism but funnily enough is defended in exactly the same manner as many defend those, with a Bible interpretation. Why do queers constantly have to defend when racists are marched out the door by the banning button? Why is homosexuality up for debate when the arguments are exactly the same as those for believing black people inferior and just as hateful. A racist saying that he/she is right to say X about black people because the Bible says so would not be allowed to keep posting hate yet it is permissable when about queers. I didn’t see H4E say she hates gays! I tell my daughter when she is wrong because I love her, I don’t want her to get into trouble and I don’t want her to make a fool out of herself.
