A Perfectly Reasonable Amount of Schadenfreude about Things Happening to Trump & His Enablers (Part 1)

Anyone else getting an L. Bob Rife (from Snow Crash) vibe here? I’d say we should be on the lookout for people babbling incoherently but this is a Trump thread.

Is Trump going to start posting here?

God I hope not. We’d have to stop calling him names outside the Pit, and it would probably take 5 years for him to get banned for trolling.

…I’m sure he’d try to dox himself and let everyone on the board know the stable genius is here now.

Well, he could try. But I predict that most people would think it was Smapti under a new account name.

(Think of how frustrating that would be for Donald!!!)

It would be, and likely foil his self-doxxing attmempt, sending him into simian-like back-flips of unglued protestation.
For a username, I’m trying ot remember the name of his friend that he often referenced back in '16.
No one would guess.

Dear G-d, I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels like we’re living a low-budget version of Snow Crash, one that is only ever so slightly less dysfunctional. Same cultishs following a self-proclaimed messiah who is in it for the power and control, propped up by wealth, black business dealings, and the trappings of faith.

And while we’re not as politically/nationally fragmented as that world, seeing different jurisdictions in America heave-ho common sense during the pandemic in order to fulfil the delusions of Trump and his did make me feel we were close enough.

Ok. So I’m reading Landslide, the book by Michael Wolff about Trump and the election. So many things making me laugh out loud, but this is the best so far - (talking about prep for the first debate)

Rudy Giuliani came once, but no one wanted him back. His phone rang constantly, and he couldn’t shut it off. He shuffled endless pieces of paper without being able to find out what he was looking for. He couldn’t work his iPad to bring up what he wanted to show, reliably stalling meetings. And he went down rabbit holes - they could get Hunter Biden, if they could just find the guy who signed the forms to get Hunter the waiver to get into the military. And he passed gas, constantly.

Bolding is mine. :joy::rofl::joy:

Sounds like he needed to get his shit together.

Cracks in the armor:

“This is the first time JohnBarron has posted!”

“JohnBarron” has been banned for being a racist, unintelligible idiot"

“This is the first time David_Dennison has posted!”

I wonder if we could goad him into posting his tax returns. “No, reveal something that isn’t public knowledge about Trump!”

I read that book last week. It’s full of tidbits like this but in general, the book pissed me off a little bit towards the end, and anyone that calls the book “a hit piece” should read it.

Because the trajectory of Michael Wolfe’s narrative is that Trump and the clowns around him were so transparently inept and stupid that the Democrats were being disingenuous by pretending that they constituted an actual threat. He’s really harsh about the second impeachment, practically accusing the Democrats, with the money and power of the state on their side, of persecuting poor little private citizen Trump, who was unable to find a decent lawyer that he could afford, for doing nothing more than “being Trump”. He clearly saw Trumps actions on January 6th as nothing more than “Trump being Trump”.

In general, Wolfe has always considered Trump to be like a toddler, mentally incapable of seeing the probable consequences of his actions…and Wolfe seems to feel that lessens Trump’s capability, al least with regards to January 6th.

It was a kind of annoying end to the story arc of that book, but it’s still worth reading.

“I like the way Pmurt thinks!”

It was a Republican vs. Republican race, where the Democrat got barely edged out in the primary - which means he got the votes of most Democrats who voted. And its suburban Dallas

Capability, or culpability? I think Wolfe is wrong. Trump’s incapability does not excuse his culpability.

This is the first time JohnDennison has posted!

You can’t restrict my first amendment rights! The sleepy moderators are out of control. They allow illegals to post anything they want while banning God-Loving Americans! I’m adding this site to my massively bigly lawsuit against Twitter and Facebook.

Bye, JohnDennison.

Threatening legal action results in an insta-permaban. :stuck_out_tongue:
